Re: General discussion chat FH2 is though (i don't have FM5 so can't really say how good or bad it is)
Re: General discussion chat I love the Forza series, but I see no need to spend $400 on an Xbox one plus a $60 online membership just to play one series of games. It's a waste of money. I see no reason why Microsoft can't release some of their Xbox exclusives on PC.
Re: General discussion chat Getting a Del Sol thursday!!! Trading my EF sedan and 300$! needs work but i'll work on it in the future, got pay up all the stuff i owe then she will see some love... I plan on keeping this too!
Re: General discussion chat this pretty much, while you guys might not buy it just for that, there are actually very many people who will buy a console just for one game (proof in case: GTA V)
Re: General discussion chat What other driving games on the Xbone are worth it? The Crew? No (it's a good Arcade racer, that's it). Need For Speed Rivals? Not even close. And that's it. There aren't any more big racing titles on the Xbone, apart from Forza. Microsoft has even said on numerous occasions that Forza will never make it to the PC, but why? Let's take a look at Gran Turismo, for example. GT4 shipped a total of 11.73 million copies. Pretty impressive, seems as how the PS2 sold 150 million units, accounting to 7% total game sales for the Playstation 2. That's one game. One. GTA San Andreas accounted for 11% of game sales on the PS2, and that's the best selling game on the Playstation 2, the best selling console of all time. Then comes GT3 in 2nd with 9% of total game sales, and GT4 in 3rd. Ok, so two racing simulators on one console produced 16% of total game sales. Two games, that's it. Lets look at Forza. FM2 for the 360 sold 2.674 million copies. Coupled with the 360 total sales figures as of 2013, makes for 3% of total game sales so far. If we look at FM2, 3, and 4 on the 360, it comes to 9.074 million games sold. Which comes to 11% of total game sales for the 360 so far. Again, that's a lot. Driving games seem to be a hit with console gamers, as most of them don't have a wheel for a controller for their PC, but their console comes with a controller. This means that they aren't trying to drive a Ferrari with the WASD keys, but are instead using triggers/buttons and joysticks. So, no, Forza can't come to the PC. It simply isn't economically feasible for console manufactures to do it, as they have a large part in the total sales of games which they get royalties for.
Help needed (decided not to make a seperate thread) For some reason, the indicators and reverse signals don't seem to work on my game. Do I need a mod, or require higher graphical settings? I am currently running on low shading and lighting, and have removed the gauges (speedometer, gear count) from the screen, as I was running on low resolution and it was taking up too much space. Thanks in advance, Ray,
Re: General discussion chat Nissan... what.... what did you do? You even named it XD... What the hell.
Re: General discussion chat ...and Forza 5 looks no better than Forza 4. I gave M$ the finger this cycle and went PS4.
Re: General discussion chat Just fried my Raspberry Pi B+ :/ stupidly fed it 5v via an external power source while wiring a floppy drive :| Just bought a bunch of crap for it off eBay too :/
Re: General discussion chat 1, why would you put 5v in without a proper PSU, and 2, why do you wire a floppy drive?
Re: General discussion chat lol of course you'd buy it just for one game. brb buying bugatti for 20 minutes to make a post about it even though i can't drive it yet
