Re: General discussion chat The ASUS Z97-A is a good choice, so is the Z97-K if you're tighter on budget. The A is just a bit better for overclocking and has a better integrated sound card. Gigabyte and MSI also have some good models around $120, although I prefer ASUS myself.

Re: General discussion chat It takes a special eye to see the pure badass-ness that is a Crown Vic. Most video game players don't have that eye. I've actually never encountered anyone in real life that thinks Crown Vics are cool. Even then, it'd extremely hard to recreate that exhaust note :\

Re: General discussion chat To be fair it is the most interesting American sedan I can think of. Only for the fact that they can indeed take quite a beating, which would make thrashing around in one pretty fun. I'd still have an E39 over a crown vic any day.

I'm pretty sure you need to step away from the keyboard for a while. Forgot to reply to this. The GTX960 was revealed to only have 2GB of VRAM and a 128-bit memory bus. Considering 780s and 970s are struggling with the game, the 960 has no chance at that resolution. A suppoesd 960Ti might have a better shot but it's not going to hit 1080p60.
Re: General discussion chat The crown vic was built specifically to be a tough car, but all things considered, all of the three cars you posted (Although the Astra is dreadful and I hate it) are far better daily drivers than a crown vic. Unless you are a police officer, or a 'murican who thinks 'daily driver' means 'beat the shit outta the car'. And it would seem you call any car that's designed for simple city driving a shitbox. What you don't seem to understand is that most people in the civilized world want a comfortable car for daily commuting, not a police car.
