Re: General discussion chat I'd like a gigabyte eye and a MSI logo in either white/black or black/white if you don't mind. Also maybe a small AMD square/rectangle thing on the gigabyte and a intel swoop on the MSI. It would fit my build and I have two monitors to show both off. Also maybe, just maybe the intel one in the same style as the nvidia one. I like how it looks. I can't photoshop.

Re: General discussion chat What issues? Memory is split into a 3.5gb segment and a slower 512mb segment. Performance drop when writing to the latter is 1-3%. I don't see an issue there.
Re: General discussion chat Apparently people reporting stuttering when using those extra 500MB ... and the feeling of getting ripped off. Also L2 cache is being reduced aswell as ROPs in contrary to official specifications. In the end it doesn't change benchmark numbers heh. Nvidia being Nvidia. No wonder they were cheaper than usual
Re: General discussion chat Maybe I'll use really high end GTX 200 series cards for the editing rig. They can be picked up for a dime a dozen now. Like a GTX 280 or something. Use 2 or more of them.

Re: General discussion chat That memory thing is just the way the 970 is built (that was a fault, but hey, still great card). As somebody said, 3.5GB is the main memory, 0.5GB is the 'slower' one. Still, I seriously dubt I will fill those 4GB with any game, I never did on my 2GB 660 :| I'm fine with it.
