Re: General discussion chat That is wrong, you're having 2x 4GB, but not 8GB because both GPUs need the resources mirrored for each other. 2 Ferraris won't bring you faster to the finishing line because they both top out at 300 km/h. For those 3.5GB vs 4GB - by the time they are usable the card would probably too slow already anyways. So that is that.

Only issue is it doesn't fit in my case and I can't afford both things, so I'll have to go for a day or two with iGPU until I buy the case with the money from my 270. Then buy AMD and enjoy the broken games and crashy drivers I want a 970 right fucking now.
Re: General discussion chat That is why the title is no longer a waiter in most establishments. You are the serving staff, the front of house staff, the server, the greeter or something else to that effect. Silver service however, the waiter is supposed to "wait" on your every whim. They will be close to you yet not uncomfortably close, when required they should be able to respond immediately without being an overbearing presence. That is proper swanky dining, waiter complete with white gloves, tailcoat and all.

Re: General discussion chat Nope. Dual 270s will beat a single 970. Cheaper too. (~110 per card.) I'm getting a second for these reasons: Having dual GPUs automatically makes you a lot cooler. I can fold on one while gaming on the other. ALL DE FRAEMZ. Cheaper and more powerful than a single R9 290. Before someone mentions how a single GPU is smoother, I don't care. It's cheaper and awesomer.
Re: General discussion chat I'm changing my case instead. Oh well, about time too. It's got two holes on the side panel (there used to be fans there, but the 212 Evo was too tall). Probably gonna buy a Cooler Master K350 or a HAF 912. I like the K350 better but the HAF is larger and has a removable HDD cage (the Windforce fits in the K350, but only by 3mm). Re: General discussion chat That's not how it works. The VRAM is duplicated across the cards, each still has 4GB. Like the 8GB 295x has 4GB for each GPU.

Re: General discussion chat Never thought blues would sell a lot. I like clicky keys though. Buckling spring master race. - - - Updated - - - You've obviously never typed a lot of numbers very quickly in succession. The numbers on top of the keyboard are fine, but having to use shift for + and * gets annoying. Also, the numpad makes for a great set of extra keys when unused. Great when playing gmod, for example.

Re: General discussion chat It's fine for everyday use. Heck, I run Illustrator CC on win7 with 1GB RAM on my second PC. Try win10 on 1GB though. Not good.
Re: General discussion chat It just seems slow though. The processor and gpu are up to the task, but overall it seems slow. when i search for something, it takes 5-10 seconds to fully register then search.
Re: General discussion chat The Honda Del Sol VTEC isn't too bad of a little car. Gives the Hirochi Sunburst Sport S a run for its money. Both cars set in automatic, as fair of a race i could give, sunburst got like a milimeter jump on the sol just cause of how i do races. Del Sol definitely needs some more work. No where near finished. But i put some time into the internals to make it perform realistically.
