    More RAM != faster PC.

If you run out of available RAM, believe me, you will notice.

Trust me, I've hit the barrier plenty of times doing normal things, aka 8 tabs and only 3 programs open. The 8gb in my rig is amazing. Love it.

Things like sudden stops, stuttering, slow programs, slow overall performance, blue screens...

I hit the barrier so many times even with 8 gig. And it's not like it's gradual, it just happens. Like "la dee dah, what a nice day to be a computer NOPE."

    Upgrade required.

What the hell are you doing. 20+ tabs on Firefox, Visual Studio, Steam, Gmod and music all at once, still don't hit 6GB.

Comes in MX reds only though. Reds are horrid. I've used one and genuinely prefer rubber dome keyboards to reds.

1: Two of em makes it cool.
2: So you don't care about cancer?
3: One runs pretty cool at max load so I doubt two would run terribly hot. (Under 70c.)

Also I've got 4GB in my laptop and 5GB in my ultrabook. Seems just about perfect for running Windows 7 and some programs. (Chrome, a game, etc.)

I mean, yeah, I'd rather have Browns but I still like Reds. Hell of a lot better than the Kalih switches in the 2014 BWU I had anyway.

I'm using membrane on both of my computers, but I want Greens. My keyboards hate me, with my heavy typing.

I actually prefer Razer's switches. They activate and reset faster than the Cherry's, which is good because my keystrokes are stupid. My Apple keyboard misses half of my strokes and the Cherry's miss about a quarter. They also last longer, apparently.

They're also more expensive... I'll have a Blackwidow Chroma soon.

I really like the Cherry MX reds on my K70. Though my next keyboard will probably be a 10-keyless. My k70 is a tad too big for my hand positioning while gaming.

so i found out why i can't find RGB blue's anymore

    it's discontinued

meaning if i want to get a mx blues keyboard when i finally go mechanical, i'll have to get a non-rgb one

    sigh

But at least they made them. I wish they would have a K65/70 RGB with Greens.

i do believe i've decided on a keyboard (for now anyway, with my luck by the time i can actually afford a new one there will be all sorts of new keyboards, maybe RGB blue's will be back at that point for all i know)

I just made a moon lander in KSP

Got to mun with barely enough fuel to do a proper landing
    Prepare for landing
Full throttle to retrograde to slow down
    2late
    crashed
    ded

    FU

I'm gonna add an emergency brake system this time. AKA solid boosters all over the thing.

How small is your desk? tbh, a numpad doesn't take up enough space for it to matter, and on a few of the programs I use (beamNG being one of them), the numpad comes in handy because you can control the camera that way, and for other programs, they may have uses for the numpad (blender uses them for different viewing positions).

Yes it does. All my PC did before I downloaded more RAM was laze around and eat fruit loops while I pleaded for it to launch Steam.

After I downloaded that extra 8GB, now it eats Frosted Flakes, and it encourages me to play co-op!
