Re: General discussion chat That's better isn't it, Thankyou. New flag $14 from the local cheap shop. Im happy.
Re: General discussion chat I'm cleaning out my recycle bin for the first time since Christmas break. It's got 8GB of files in it. Files range from FRAPS videos, to BeamNG installations, to photos, to big ass zips with MTM2 in them, etc, etc. - - - Updated - - - 1,187. Fucking. Registry. Errors. Help me. Someone. Just help me.
Re: General discussion chat What the fuck do you guys do to your PC's??? I have 0 registry errors and never have had any. Only things I know that can cause them: uninstalling a program by deleting the folder rather than running the uninstaller failed installations from cancelling the installer prematurely malware CCleaner fixes most anyway. Also my recycle bin reached over 100gb once
Re: General discussion chat im a little late to the party, but ill grab my popcorn anyways. for re reading everything that happend
Re: General discussion chat Yeah I dont have a clue what went on there. Seems just the very mention of those 3 letters causes a shitstorm every time. MUch want: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1tb-...ead-540mb-s-write-520mb-s-1gb-cache-97k-88k-i
Re: General discussion chat Have any of you heard about the MSI GT80 Titan laptop? Mechanical keyboard. i7 and DUAL 980Ms. 32GB RAM. It's $4k, but I would rather have a new rig and yeah. But, it's a feat of engineering, and I respect what MSI made.
Re: General discussion chat > mfw caring about registry errors Most of these programs shouldn't be used. Just let Windows handle its registry. They sure know best how to treat it . Whenever i see a broken Windows PC the first things i'm encountering are various registry cleaners together with some Speedup-programs and maybe a Youtube downloader. 99% of the case the user is the problem - not the registry.
Re: General discussion chat Windows alone shouldnt allow registry errors. I concur the user is the problem. But as it stands, CCleaner provided you dont let it install 3rd party shit will sort the registry right out for you, windows won't. Defraggers, speedup programs etc are all useless though.
Re: General discussion chat Okay, one might have some serious registry errors that may be fixed by CCleaner ... still how do know or feel the impact of said registry errors if CCleaner wouldn't tell you?
Re: General discussion chat You don't. I never bothered with them, probably never had more than a few since I do things properly.
Re: General discussion chat PewDiePie did a beamng video. And with all the 7 year old subscribers he has// Prepare for forum invasion. On the bright side he did not use russian mods Edit:He must of downloaded beamng forum mods from russian sites...
Re: General discussion chat I use CC cleaner occasionally as well as defraggler. I really need to defrag more often, my hard drive is a mess at the moment due to it being almost full and having file deleted and written to it fairly often. Most of the registry issues my computer gets are caused by microsoft. About 1/4 of the issues are caused by silverlight. Another quarter are unused file extensions, which just regenerate immediately after cleaning anyway. The others are because registry errors occur every time i delete an exe file from my desktop, for example an application shortcut. But i only run it once every 6 months or so, the computer is fine without it. I very rarely defrag, this computer needs it so bad right now. But defragging takes forever. Hopefully large solid state drives come soon so i can migrate over to one without starting over (which i probably should do).
Re: General discussion chat That video was uploaded 6 days ago. How did you manage to miss the entire thread talking about just that? PewDiePie His video was also the reason behind the new banner.
Re: General discussion chat I mean i saw a lot of forum mods downloaded from russian sites on his vehicle list like for example: "BKL Crusher from worldofmods.ru"
Re: General discussion chat I've never watched pewdiepie at all. With a 7 year old audience I can't imagine his videos being too great. EDIT: I just watched the BeamNG video for 30 seconds. The editing gave me cancer.
Re: General discussion chat I just watched the PewDiePie BeamNG video. I lasted the whole thing, there were some sections that i thought were pretty good such as the GTA wasted section. But a lot of it i found pretty irritating. But each to their own, I can see why some people really like it. I also kinda like that he gives children's TV channels something to worry about, not that i would like my (theoretical) child watching his videos.
