Re: General discussion chat argh so cold it's 57F (or 13.8889C for you metric people) right now i don't like it, i don't like it one bit, what happened to California heat?
Re: General discussion chat At least your in the positives Friday are high is 1 low -17 wind chill -30s
Re: General discussion chat for other states maybe, but that's considered freezing here, t-shirt and shorts would be 75-88F (also known as average house temperature) and 100-110F is considered normal California weather i'd excuse the cold if it was low enough to snow if it was raining, and it was raining causing it to snow in reality, but it's not snowing, so fuck the cold
Re: General discussion chat How does that register to anyone as cold. It's just 10 degrees colder than your average temperature inside your house.
Re: General discussion chat The 4.6 is a pretty hardy engine in my experience. \My\ car started pretty quickly in 15 degree weather after sitting for 3 months.
Re: General discussion chat 57°F is cold? Try the -20°F we are getting tonight with the windchill. Normal house temperature is ~68-72°F here.
Re: General discussion chat But I just don't understand how it's possible. Room temperature is high 60s. Whatever. I hate hot weather. You can get used to the cold, but you never get used to the heat.
Re: General discussion chat We had to have our roof done off today. We have about 5 feet around the perimeter of the house. Lots of car accidents because people can't see over the snow banks. I thought this was alot... 2 weeks later and 3 feet more snow. Buried Ranger Lots of roof collapses. That's pretty much all of are local news is. Edit-70 collapses this month in the eastern part of the state.
Re: General discussion chat Yeah, you can always add more layers of clothes, but you can only take off so many. Anything over 95°F starts getting uncomfortably hot. 100°+ is just flat out annoying.
Re: General discussion chat We keep getting about 2 feet a week. Each time it closes schools for 2 days. One was on a weekend so it didn't mess up school. Must be about 8 days. I graduated last year so I don't really keep count anymore.
Re: General discussion chat the key part here is that i'm talking about California, not Tennessee or wherever else the other people on this forums live here, we like it hot, not cold also everyone i know IRL would disagree with that last statement of yours, it's quite easy getting used to the heat in fact if you guys like the cold so much fine, come take ours, you can have it
Re: General discussion chat We don't like the cold, not one bit. Regardless, we still have to live with it so we might as well get used to it. Ideal weather here is around 70° to ~85°F.
Re: General discussion chat Yet I still only wear a hoodie and shorts. I'm always fine with just that. Even when it gets down into the single digits.
Re: General discussion chat A hoodie is fine in the single digits as long as I have a beanie and it isn't windy. Wind cuts right through hoodies. I only wear a hoodie to school though. I don't have time to drop a coat off at my locker so I just suck it up. It's only like a 200 yard walk from the parking lot anyways. I can deal with just a hoodie for that time. Otherwise when I'm out and about I wear this nice thick North Face zip up sweater. Doesn't block the wind but is lightweight and very warm.
