at least i'm not abusing my powers. my touch screen stopped working for most of a school day and i removed about 95% of the extra stuff just in case if i had to actually go to the help desk. also if it was siblings that had done the deed with Cwazy, i don't have siblings who go here (yet), and if they did, they wouldn't know how to go through with reporting me. now that i'm saying this, i bet it's gonna happen, because that's how my life happens. oh well.
There is very little proxy disallowance at my school. In fact, there's little security period. I can make my student account an administrator account in the command prompt.
they blocked command prompt (non-elevated, still works elevated) last year because people were remote shutting down other computers, and it got to the point where teachers were involved in the remote shut downs, and 2 people got expelled. that sounded like a fun time.
i don't think they had to start cracking down until they realized it was a real problem and that they couldn't just trust us to behave on the tablets. tbh i'm still glad that they did a good job with picking out the tablets for my class. they really did a bad job this year. (some Fujitsu model that is basically a slate with a keyboard. i know it has an i5-4200U or something in it). we got thinkpad x230 tablets. i am not disappointed
Turn on PC. Smash F8. Go into recovery mode. Open log (.txt), it will open notepad File > Open C:\Windows\System32 Delete sethc.exe Copy cmd.exe Rename to sethc.exe Restart PC normally Press F5 five times Command prompt access as SYSTEM. Use to create an administrator user.

the thing is, i would probably get in a shitload of trouble if i actually tried to get past the restrictions. i still wonder though how i kept my credentials from last year, and apparently it isn't just me. (a few of my friends still have the old credentials as well) with the proxy thing, it could also be the fact that our internet has been completely screwed up lately, and it is very slow, and that could somehow cause the proxies to not connect in time. idk.
My school has now changed the wifi again. We no longer need device management software installed and sixth formers (like me) get their account privileges on mobile devices. So i can now use YouTube on personal devices. They still haven't fixed windows devices not being allowed to connect, but they are working on it
Dah! The devs pulled an RoR! The mods folder is on the OS install drive. The one feature from RoR I hated and now it's here too. I already have enough folder links, thank you very much...
The Documents folder isn't fixed to your OS drive, it's just the default place. There's absolutely nothing stopping you from moving it instead of using links.
my 360 is now not dead, and oh my pgr2 really is as good as it was back then. it's a lot better now because i don't suck at driving. at least not as much. i hope.
