To be fair to it there is a usb 3.1 type c connector which is nice. Would have been far nicer had they put an actual charging port on the device rather than preventing any peripherals while charging. In my opinion the microsoft surface absolutely destroys it. I would even go as far to say that my linx 10 atom based tablet is probably about equal to it since it at least has a dedicated usb port and separate charging port. Im not sure how powerful the mac book is but i can only imagine that it has more power than an atom and the screen will probably be nicer. But i think micro sd + usb connectivity is a big deal. What about all the apple based audio professionals who cannot hook up their audio interfaces, there is one market gone. But i have no doubt there will soon be targeted peripherals that allow charging with data specifically for the device because apple.
It's more expensive and less powerful than a MacBook Air. It doesn't have Apple's fantastic keyboard, no light-up Apple logo, too expensive, not powerful enough, not big enough, comes in gold, destined to fail. As an Apple fanboy, it hurts to say that I don't like it, and I don't see the point in it. But I could look past all of that. I could ignore every single one of those negative points, if it was cheaper than the Air. I'd give Apple no more than $750 for the top of the range model. But I can't forgive it for the time it's $1,300. I just can't.
I'm surprised there has even no talk of Jeremy Clarkson being suspended and the TG episode being delayed.

Eh, I'm sad because no Top Gear really. Clarkson has tons of money, I dunno why he didn't leave the BBC and start his own production company years ago.

New Macbook. Thinner than an Air, more expensive, and has two fucking ports in total. Crap specs and keyboard/touchpad too. Basically a thin iPad with a shitty keyboard and a much bigger price.
While phones get bigger, computers get smaller. As soon as the Macbook is smaller than the iPhone, Apple is going under. What the hell are you supposed to do with two ports?!
