I got to drive this 2002 BMW E46 M3 today. I loved everything about it, except for the SMG transmission. I'd like to find a E46 M3 coupe with a manual, and one in a slightly more subtle color.
I dropped my phone in some water earlier and I'm pretty sure the whole thing is electrically charged now.
Yeah. It still works fine. I was able to fish it out pretty quickly. The only thing that was a little strange was that it thought that I had headphones in when I didn't. Water got into the headphone jack and was messing with it I guess, I've also noticed that it only shocks you when its hooked up to the charger. Meh. It's hardly noticeable. Not gonna worry about it.
It's an iPhone. Impossible. Potato, most water damage is caused by using the phone after it was dropped in water. You idiot.
Turbos and superchargers do not work on that style 2 stroke engine. Any "boost" pressure goes straight out the exhaust valve and fails to raise compression even slightly. There is a company making superchargers for the petrol engines for 1/5th scale models, but all of their videos documenting "dyno" tests are really clearly biased towards supercharger equipped models and all independent tests have recorded a decrease in power due to the added load of driving a supercharger that isnt contributing towards performance.
There are special superchargers you can get for these engines. They actually provide a little bit of power. http://www.rbinnovations.com/Traxxas_T_Maxx_2_5_3_3_Twin_Superchargers_p/rbk10584.htm
RBInnovations is the exact company I was referring to. On these engines the exhaust and intake are open at the same time, any boost pressure is immediately lost through the exhaust. Supercharging on these engines serves only for cylinder scavenging. By adding the supercharger, hypothetically you should be able to full scavenge the cylinder (hard to do with crankcase supercharging as is stock), but this is way way offset from the losses from driving the supercharger and ultimately just leads to you throwing even more unburnt fuel from the exhaust than they already do, this then actually burns in the exhaust contributing to the louder tone of the supposedly supercharged nitro engine.
Turned my second monitor into a rainmeter hub. Not sure what it'll end up looking like. (imported from here)
You can with a little work. https://www.ifixit.com/Store/iPhone/iPhone-5-Replacement-Battery/IF118-001-2
I dropped my iPhone in a toilet at a rest stop in Nevada. This particular rest stop just happened to be "bring your own soap". That was a couple of months ago, the phone never really suffered any damage- which is remarkable considering it took upwards of two minutes for me muster up the courage to plunge my hand in the toilet bowl and fish it out.
Hah no It's working fine. I'm not gonna put it in a bowl of rice for a few days unless its messed up. I did put it in some rice for a few hours yesterday, though. @cwazywazy I had places to go and shit to do.
I know it's not that hard on a 4/4s but tater has a 5c. (AKA the iPhone for stupid people who don't realize the 4s is cheaper.)
