Re: General discussion chat the 7.3's a tank unless spend a couple grand on mods. Great engine though. I drive a 6.0 everyday at work, plenty of power, but like Potato said it's junk. That truck has cost us wayyyy too much. I'll stick to my Cummins.
Really? Logo got B&? BBC, Bring back... wait that doesn't work. Well someone create a change.org pettition for it.
That isn't just limited to South Africa. Happened to me in the UK. Also went a week without power after a plough was dragged through an underground cable that hasn't been buried deeply enough. I also know someone who had an entire oil tank stolen. Literally wrenched from the ground.
here in germany they ripped the copper wires and stuff out of the walls of an empty house of ours... profit for the thieves = maybe 100euros renovation costs for us = about 15.000euros ...thieves these days.
A couple of years ago our area lost power for 3 days or so because some dumbass redneck crashed their ATV into a transformer.
heres how it works. it was a dell cooler(the tower type) and it fit in place via an overlap on the original computer(like this /----cooler----\). I then got an amd heatsink mounting bracket and stuck it through the heat pipes, only to find out it was too loose. so i cut some pci bracket and bent it to a v shape so there was tension when i secured it to the amd socket. And ya the fan is rubberbanded onto it. Makes a nice, loud hum when i oc b/c fan hits rubberband. also, this cooler has let me get to 4.3ish ghz stable and over 4.3 non stable from 3.3 ghz original. That is at reasonable temperatures, though not the best.
Tested positive for celiac disease, hopefully this will explain my many gastrointestinal woes. Going for an intestinal biopsy in the near future. I am a raging hypochondriac and this is really the last thing I need- celiac disease can increase your risk of intestinal cancer among many other things. Urgh.
Yep, and not looking forward to it. I've been on a gluten-free diet once previously for an unrelated problem, and I can tell you with some degree of authority that there is no tasty substitute for bagels.
That's me- although my lactose intolerance isn't very serious. I can still ingest dairy without too much of a problem as long as I have a lactaid beforehand. Oddly enough lactose intolerance is very commonly found alongside celiac, which is a rather unfortunate consequence.
A few years ago a teenage girl went over a curb at the bottom of a hill in my neighborhood, through someone's yard, through a hedgerow, took out a transformer, went through another hedgerow, got air off of a flower bed, flew across someone's driveway, and ended up in the flowerbed on the other side of their driveway. Not only did she take out power and cable to a whole street for a few days, the oil from her damaged car found its way into a nearby pond and caused somewhat of a small-scale ecological breakdown. Welcome to America.
I seem to have lucked out on the food allergies front, and on eyesight too (acuity > 1.0), not so much the hearing. The annoying one for me only comes after cutting myself. The pink plasters and medical tape you get, full body rash and a complete lack of coagulation anywhere near them (hence defeating the purpose of using them) Brother appears to be lactose intolerant, does absolutely nothing about it, instead just carries on scoffing dairy and then stinks the house out later.
Today I tried to change one of the lightbulbs behind the air controls. I was trying to take out the bulb out of the housing with some pliers, and I used a bit too much force...it exploded. Small pieces of glass everywhere... I had to change it redneck style. Took a bulb that is supposed to go in the dash cluster and and sort-of connected it all up, and it works fine now, atleast there is lighting there now
