The plane knows when it's getting close to the ground. It'll sound warnings when it gets too close. But then again, the mountain is so steep uphill that the planes sensors or whatnot didn't know how close it was until it was too late.
Is that based of ground level or sea level? Either way its a pretty crappy thing to happen for everyone involved.

Installing now :3 And modern planes (specifically airliners) have a *lot* of systems on board related to location, height, altitude, proximity to things etc. It certainly knows when its close to the ground, when something (like a mountain) is in front of it, and any other information relevant to the subject at hand. ~edit~ 6 hours later...still downloading! slow internet ftw!

Yeah. I figured she looked like the type to be a feminist, so I loudly said to one of my friends "ya know feminism is pretty useless". I just wanted to see her go off. It worked. I've always wanted to argue with a feminist face to face where they can't hide behind their tumblr username and do bullshit research to argue points. She said something about how women are pregnant and that's men's fault for some reason. Then I told her that no one is forcing her to get pregnant and she refuted that by mentioning guys that refuse to wear condoms, which aren't very prevalent at all. My answer to that was to not fuck guys that don't wear condoms. After that I guess she had run out of dumb things to say so she just kicked my ankle and walked away. So dense.
