On my rig, running AIDA64's stress test, I got it to 52C with the GPU kicking up heat too.

HWMonitor. I love it, use it on everything.

CPU running 35-40c and GPU at 50c. (Doesn't downclock/voltage stays at 1.163 with my settings)

hwmonitor didn't work and dalek recommended openhardware monitor. Downloaded that and it works well.
Took the side panel off of the computer to just look in there cause I'm extremely bored right now. Got bored with that very quickly and put it back on. Looking inside this computer is like watching porn with fat ugly people.
Also getting some pretty high temps.
at idle cpu is 94 Fahrenheit
    gpu is 114 Fahrenheit

My laptop CPU idles at just above ambient temperature with the fan off :D

Though, for some reason most of the time my Quadro never downlclocks (Plus it's overclocked) so it idles pretty high. (Around 50c)

Dang it guys, use Celsius when you're measuring computer stuff. It's universal and what the companies publish specs at. I'm an American and it's bothering me. :p

    Looks like fun.

Anyway I lowered my CPU back down to 1.4v at 4.2GHz and it's running 50c under Folding load.

I started to put both but then I got varying numbers when I did them and I didn't want to have temps that didn't line up so I just did Fahrenheit.

I looked at the temps in c then typed them out, then it switched to fahrenheit and they had changed by then.
I was just like fuck it and put down fahrenheit. Too lazy to convert on google.

So it seems that my rig is better than a A8 with the same GPU.

    (imported from here)
Me on left, A8 on right.
Also my GPU got a bit more hotter, beacuse I did cca 3-4 tests before that.
(also i see that kittykat and I dont want to be mean to it but I still like my adblock)

It worries me when 2 microcontrollers can communicate with one another with just 3 weedy little wires over UART at a higher datarate than my fancy schmancy internet connection

Must say, I do love my texas instruments tiva c launchpads :p Scared me even more reading the datasheet. I was running at 921600 baud or about 900kb/s so just shy of 1mb/s. Datasheets claims the UART module is good for 7.5mb/s, not only that but it has 8 of them and also what it claims to be a high speed mode capable of running 15mb/s. I'm errm, yeah... Not going to try that, even 921600 is overkill for pretty much everything on a UART.

I used to use F all the time but I got yelled at a lot.. Besides, HWMon reports in F and C so it's not like I have to convert it or anything. (But a lot of the time when I see something in C I have to convert it..)

That guy came extremely close to flipping.
and logoster: yeah I know they aren't too high, but I'm just wondering how hot it gets under load. Kinda scares me cause those coolers keep it on the high-normal side at idle.
    Idk I'll have to see.

So for some reason none of my Steam games were updating and I found out that for some reason I have two copies of every game. After a brief panic when I thought I had deleted all copies of all my Steam games (Just the icons for some reason) they started updating and I gained some HDD space.

Well...the Cushman Vanster that I was after has disappeared from the field where it was sitting. I guess whoever bought it followed through after all. :(
I'm really afraid I'm gonna see it pop up on craigslist here sometime for like 2000 bucks. That would be a very traumatic event for me.
I hope whoever has it takes good care of my baby.
This doesn't mean I won't be on the lookout for it in the area so I can ask whoever owns it now to buy it. :p

Also, I'm in the market for a gpu. Looking for a mid range card. Suggestions? Can't be too pricey.
