(imported from here) - - - Updated - - - It's the stock AMD cooler. Reference R9 290/X's are known for being insanely loud. See video below:
My card's built by ASUS (no problems ATM). I've got 5 fans running at max for my games on my Antec 902 case and it gets very loud.
I made a secondary steam account and i see the games from my first account are on in the secondary's library. Does that mean if i ever got hacked and i got banned from somes of games on my first account i would get banned on the same games on my secondary account.
ASUS makes three R9 290's: DirectCU, ROG Matrix, and reference. But believe me you would notice if it was a reference card.
I use Sharemouse. (Enables using keyboard and mouse across multiple keyboards. Also allows copying stuff from computer to computer, which is nice.)
I do this daily at school. And with my Raspberry Pi. And when I have my laptop on my desk. Basically whenever there are two monitors near each other.
Seems I will be the only person here who isn't going to be playing GTA V when it comes out. I could care less about Grand Theft Auto, like most games...
I won't be playing it at launch because I'm not paying that much for a game. Will buy it when on sale though.
Recently, Razer Surround (which is awesome when it works) has been giving me issues. It'll disconnect itself from the physical audio driver, leaving me without sound. And Synapse has it's own issues, including leaving right-click menus lying around on top of everything.
i dont really like gta either. so no gta v for me either. then again only games i play consistently are beamng and tf2
Bought Forza Horizon 2 yesterday. Gold edition, so I have a VIP membership and the car pass. Got the F&F pack and Storm Island too. I just have to say, it blows Forza 5 out of the water. FH2 is purely amazing. Then again, any game where your second car is a Ferrari 360 CS is purely amazing.
According to this, Jeremy Clarkson said (in regards to Top Gear) "oh, it'll be back, just somewhere else. Or maybe not somewhere else, who knows?" EDIT: that quotation was not lifted out of this article, but directly from the video of him speaking. I couldn't find that so I linked this article instead. If you find it and the quotation is wrong, feel free to correct me.
