Psh clarinets. At least the rest of the band made up for that. My show from last year. I'm the trumpet that comes down the 50 in the back. I'm at a new school this year though. We had almost 300 kids.
Re: General discussion chat Pfft, try winning state and playing in Lucas Oil Stadium. (I'm not in band personally, but a lot of my friends are in marching band) I think we have around 450 kids in the band.

Re: General discussion chat Dominos (not a popular option when I worked there), pizza hut, pizza express I think and also supermarket own brand pizzas now it seems. Cheese stuffed crusts are good, I've had them with the tomato puree in the crust too which was great. Anything else can gtfo, unfortunately the pizzas I have to live on this week are hotdog stuffed crust and aren't all that great.

Re: General discussion chat On the topic of band, I just remembered a quote from our instructor person at Disney Preforming Arts. So, we were sightreading music from The Lion King (specifically Stampede, where Simba's father dies completely unrealisticly). The trumpets have a simple but main part at the beginning, so he encouraged them to play louder by calling it an instrument of war. Meanwhile, our section of 3 french horns (my brother, someone else, and I) had the same part. He realized this and decided that the statement applied to horns as well. Thus, the best quote from that was born: "French Horn is an INSTRUMENT OF WAR!!!". Completely inaccurate but hilarious.
