It's a good CPU, and shouldn't bottleneck a 960 (except for maybe BeamNG when running more than 3-4 vehicles).

Are Honda Pilots rare to find in diecast versions? I found this at a WalMart a couple years ago, but I've never seen another one since then.

I found a permit appointment in a DMV over 40 miles away. It's on Wednesday instead of near the end of August. If neither of my parents can take me, I'll just have to kill myself.

    :D:(:D:(

Well I hit a deer tonight. Driving down twisty roads in the Black Hills outside Rapid City, SD with dad in my grandfather's 06 Passat. It was a rainy evening, and I was doing about 5 under the limit at close to 30 MPH. At the moment it happened, I was looking straight ahead and just driving. Very suddenly, from the left part of my vision, there's a deer, sprinting across the road, and about to be smacked by the front of the Passat. The moment I see the deer, I give the brakes a hard stab and feel the ABS kick in for half a second while I'm plowing straight into the deer. I probably hit the deer at around 28 MPH - that's how little time there was to react. There's a line of two or three cars behind me who feel that they should be driving a little faster than I was, so I release the brake pedal completely and slowly pull off to the side of the road after the deer has gone flying off into the grass and shrubbery next to the road. There's no point in continuing to brake hard anyway, since the deer is gone. We stop for a minute to gather our thoughts, but we both agree it's not necessary to get out in the rain and check for damage at the moment. The Passat should be able to make it 5 miles back to my Uncle's house. And make it it did. It drove like new on the way back, showing no signs of damage at all. The thing actually passed 140k miles yesterday while I was driving it. Once there, I was greeted with a front fascia without a VW badge, and some broken plastic.

Volkswagen, you make some tough little cars. My grandpa's last Passat had 280k miles on it before he got rid of it, and his old Jetta had 400k miles. Could have been worse. Glad everything worked out well.

Just finished Psych on Netflix... Anybody else seen it? I've gotta say, I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic to turn off your brain and watch after a long day.

INTERNET IS BACKUP. BT phoned, after customer complaints a fault was found in the nearest cabinet and repaired this morning... So much for them saying there was no fault on their end. Fucknuts.

Also. Parents and youngest 2 sisters have been away since wednesday. Honestly, only missed the little sisters, rather pleasant having nobody bitching about the apocalypse I am causing and hasn't occurred in their absence.

Can't get enough of this right now.

VGA is decent for those people who don't game, and don't have a 4K monitor, so most of your points are retarded.

VGA is fine. Sure it involves a lot of stuff due to being Analog but in reality there is almost no perceivable difference on most monitors. Unless you run your display cables next to things that have a ton of electrical interference you are basically fine. In my experience the connector is fairly solid as well.

The reason I made the switch to digital for good is because on my old monitor VGA wasn't as sharp and it made these annoying ass lines down the screen. (And no, it wasn't an issue with the cable or the GPU I had at the time.)

    Still, analog. Yech.

Bootcamped Windows onto my MacBook. The first thing I did was install Beam.

It runs well, like, really well. It's beyond playable with the D15 on GridMap.

    Further testing is required.
