I'd say it's because it's interesting. Voice commands are pretty neat and usually fun to play around with. For example, my dad currently has an old Samsung Rugby flip phone, and it actually has some sort of ancient voice command/recognition system. If you say, "bagel", it will open the calendar! Other than that, they're usually inconvinient, but it doesn't really matter that much anyway, eh?

My last 2 weeks of band camp ever are now over. I don't want them to be, I'm going to miss all this so much. One of my friends put all the shows he's been apart of on his painted paw print. They're the same shows I've been in. I can't believe that it's only 3 short months until I'll never be able to do this again. I stood there, looking at the painting, and I cried. I've never had a bad experience here, I'll never leave with a bad memory. Sure, bad memories have been caused because of it (I'm sure you all remember when I absolutely lost my fucking mind about a year and a half ago), but in the organization, just good memories. And so many friends made, and I've grown so much as a person. I just can't believe it's the last time.
I am talking in generalities. For the most part AAA games at least the more recent ones have been trash. Yes Red Dead was awesome, as are some of the other AAA titles you mentioned they are becoming much more rare in recent times. And regarding the money thing, I did some research on it back in 2012 and Activision, EA and THQ all had around 50% of their budgets being spend on marketing. AAA games used to be a lot better than they have been the last 5 years.

When I drive my Volvo Truck, I start my truck, pull out of the yard without looking at all, what traffic is coming, get to a stoplight and make sure it is totally red before running through it. Then I stop in the middle of the intersection and detach the whole trailer of my truck in the middle of the red light, making sure it is angled diagonally in the light to cause the biggest backup possible, and then drive off, leaving it behind. Then I drive at over 104 MPH and pass other slow cars and trucks on the right side of the road and a lot of times, in the oncoming lane to pass them. Sometimes I need to drive on the very left "other lane that has traffic coming towards me" to pass much too slow cars on my side. I do seem to have a whole lot of engine malfunctions sometimes.
Uhh Fallout: New Vegas (2010) TES V: Skyrim (2011) GTA V (2013/2015) Portal 2 (2011) CS:GO (2012) L.A. Noire (2011) Just Cause 2 (2010) Those are just some I can remember right now. There's also Fallout 4, which does not seem to be a bad game, releasing in November. I think you're confusing "AAA" and "EA/Ubisoft/etc cash cow" And let's not forget the indie game industry is plagued with terrible youtuber bait games that are funny for literally five minutes. Good games are just as rare.
Skyrim was utter trash, Morrowind is still by far and away the best in that series. Never played new vegas as STALKER is my go to for that genre but I heard it wasn't bad as long as you enjoy the color brown. GTA V was great except for them never releasing heists when I played it on 360, only reason I even got it was to avoid people spoiling it for me. While 2K/Take-Two may be the lesser of the evils their games aren't that great either. Bethesda games have been plagued by bad combat and other issues forever yet they never get addressed in newer versions of games. If you'll notice all of the games you posted are from 2k and valve, except the one from square enix. Square does a god job and valve takes it's sweet time with everything so their games tend to be good. 2K rushed GTA and it was missing tons of features on launch so much so that some (myself included) considered the 360 release a beta for the actual release. Also any company that releases yearly titles is a cash cow company. There is no way to possibly make a complete and tested game in one year so those games only exist to make profit from people that won't notice bugs and things. Take-two, EA, Activision and Ubisoft are more similar than you seem to want to think they are. Sure sometimes a great game can happen more often than not these titles are rushed onto market by some higher-up and only become good after tons of patches and fixes. GTA is a prime example of a game rushed to market before it was truly finished. Skyrim may have been too, at least on PS3. Obviously this is my opinion and you clearly don't share it which is fine. I don't like AAA games, to me they just seem lazily developed and boring to play to the point where i'd rather play EA games that aren't even close to being finished like Beam and Road Redemption and Speedrunners.

More shit, went to Florida for 4 days to my grandfather's 95th, was OK. We rented a (dare i say it) nice car. A new Camry SE with 3500 miles on it. I'll post some pics in the car discussion thread. He gave me a "broken" iPhone 4 that he had. I fixed it by charging it. Now, it's like an iPod touch ATM, because it doesn't have service on it, and my crappy phone is now only used if I need to call someone.
