    We have microwaves but I've never heard them called "Microwave ovens", I imagined that must be a small microwave sized oven with like the shelves for trays. :p

    Centre it on the plate then... or if it is centred and your microwave aims off centre, then shift the food off centre.

    Or get silver reflective card type stuff. Put food atop that.

    are you kidding 6677? And you always have such great knowledge about...pretty much everything. seriously, everone in America has either a Microwave OR a Toaster Oven. They are like, some of the most popular small appliances across the continent. that's too funny!!!! do you live on a farm?

    I am not kidding. I have never come across such a thing.

    I also live on a farm yes.
    We have a normal toaster you stick bread in, a microwave, an aga (oil fired oven/hob) plus an electric oven and an electric hob.
