The first game where i see damage aprox to correct is 1998 Viper Racing , i bought it when it's released and yes i am old
GTA V. The passenger compartiments of cars cannot be crushed. Most likely due to the first person modus. GTA IV had a great damage system. Also, Burnout Paradise was fun.
Ha!It's very clear that if these action games are equipped with realistic physics, you may even UNABLE to pass the introduction!XD --- Post updated --- Driver series and GTA series is the battle between ATARI/Ubisoft and Rockstar. And Rockstar won at last. However the physics of Driv3r surpassed GTASA.It was released earlier than GTASA!However it requires a high performance computer to run at that time.Driver 4 was good too,but still got beaten by GTAIV a year later.
i have to say world racing 2 isn“t that good of a game when it comes to crashes but the rest of it was (and still is awesome). But I dont think anyone outside of germany knows this game.
Parallel Line is actually Blondie's album! The song in game was One Way Or Another.I love that song very much!XD --- Post updated --- Actually it's fun in the Saints Row.The vehicle hardly takes damage when you are in it.On the contrary,it cannot sustain three hits with your baseball bat!lol --- Post updated --- It's a pity that there weren't more Blondie songs in Driver 4 PL.It would be better if more songs like Heart Of Glass, etc.
Euro Truck Simulator 2, I was disappointed when I realized that the cars nor the trucks take any cosmetic damage during collision. Its sad considering the old 18 Wheels of Steel games (made by the same people) had truck damage.
The fun gameplay, great soundtrack and story in NFS: MW made up for the bad damage model. (It's one of my favorite games!)
I wouldn't say so. Forza 2 had a good damage model for 2007. The actual crashing physics (not so much the model) is probably superior to games like flatout.
When compared to something like BeamNG or Grid, I would say Mafia II, but when you compare it to Need for Speed, it looks much better.
