[/QUOTE] There is more than one reason actually: the first thing that got me is the landscape, I think it is beautiful and unique (the large ridge of the intersection that divides the two valleys, the overhanging mountain) then also the elevation changes and the path of the road, there is no curve equal to another, it is fun! especially to throw the cars down the top cliff lol. I also wanted something with few buildings and assets to recreate since, being the first map I make based on a real place, I would have lost already enough time to figure out how to do it in the first place. Lastly, after I saw this area I was happy enough I didn't even look for better ones, so if you know some I'm here next time it will be easier

If you go hiking there you actually see car wrecks down in the valley.. pretty grim but thats how it is. So throwing down cars over cliffs in the canary islands is apparently a real thing Anyways, looking forward to your map. I was thinking about doing a canary island styled map myself but I don´t have the time to do it, thats why I am especially happy that you make one
- Went further with the rockface, and while it looks fine from a distance, upclose is pretty bad because I scaled these rocks a lot. I don't know what to do, these assets look awesome and are good for performance as well, but they are pretty rough for what I need - Improved color base texture
I don´t think this is such an issue, the rocks are not in an area where you really drive, and from the distance it looks good. I do the same on my map projects and yes, they look bad from really close but, at least in my opinion, its more about the overall image and plausibility than how good it looks down to single blades of grass..
