Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts WELL SHOOT!!! I CAN'T INSTALL ADD ONS AND THIS IS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts I know it is not released. I still cannot install add ons, So when it is released, I will never get this mod. :'(
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts Put the .zip when it´s released into /mydocuments/beamng/mods and it will work (if you re using the steam version)
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts But i put vehicle mods in: Windows8_OS (C/Program files(X86)/Steam/steamapps/common/BeamNG.drive/content/vehicles
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts Which is why none of your mods work then, because thats the wrong way.
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts http://static.cargurus.com/images/s..._dr_estate_wagon-pic-4050812330024467220.jpeg thats a vista style roof, its a glass portion of the roof usually above the rear set of doors.
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts Yes, but about 99% of them will have errors, since they're made to be dropped into the mods folder. One of the devs also said that this can lead to errors in the game, so it's not reccomended.
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts So, in the mods folder, I create A Folder called "vehicles" and a folder called "Levels"?
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts You can do that, but the official way is just to drop the zips in there, and if they're made right it'll work.
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts If you need any reference pics for the wagon, my boyfriend owns a '93 Buick Roadmaster wagon with the tow package, so I would be happy to snap any pics you need. A true tow package option would be sweet to see on the G.Marsh wagon because with the GM B-Body it adds PosiTraction, stiffer rear suspension, frame bracing and other happy horseshit that makes a huge difference in its handling and attitude.
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts I've changed some small things; shortened with 3cm, adjusted the sides so the lines problem is solved (it's a little bit smaller now) adjusted the d-pillar; it's a little bit shorter but wider, adjusted the trunk, rear glass and taillights. The taillights are now in line with the d-pillar. Not sure about - The position is of the third brake light... I'm not sure if I should put it below the roof or on top of the lower part of the trunk. - How the trunk should open; sideways like the Moonhawk (with or without glass?), lower side down, upper glass part up like the D15/my D-series wagon or as one part up including the glass like the Roamer. - The black line on the trunk which isn't in line with the taillights anymore - If the rear of the trunk and glass should extrude this much rearwards. I know the reverse lights are missing and the rear glass is present without the trunk. Thanks for the offer! Could you explain to me what PosiTraction is and the frame bracing is? Like the Moonhawk I'm planning on putting stiffer and higher springs and damper wagon package (it's just a simple jbeam) and also a tow package. Frame bracing, what parts should be braced? Are hump plates enough? (Like the Moonhawk) Also not necessary in pictures, could you tell me if the c and d-pillar of this mod are thick enough to be realistic and if the divider used in the sedan between the trunk and rest of the cabin is also present in the Roadmaster? I do not intent to make a Caprice wagon copy or lookalike, but it's a nice reference for being realistic It's a bit clumsy to speak about a GM wagon... Grand Marshal wagon or General Motors wagon And guys please ask question about subjects nothing to do with this mod in their proper threads...
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts I'd say that the 3rd light should be off the top of the lower tailgate, with less extrusion off of the back. The tailgate should be split (glass goes up, tailgate goes down). Leave the black part/ trim piece, just make the taillights a little bit smaller.
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts This looks great. The rear doors on the wagon have weird reflections though.
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts Man, I'm hyped as heck. I love all of your mods, why don't you become a game developer for BeamNG? After all you're the best...
Re: Grand Marshal Station Wagon & Police, Taxi parts In my opinion something is still off with the D-pillars and the view from the rear looks odd. Trying to comprehend what exactly....perhaps the thickness. The whole rear looks quite "square" and even though you are trying to avoid a direct Caprice clone I think at least some of the lines will need to be incorporated. The Grand Marshal without a doubt has Caprice inspiration and that is a fact so I think using the Caprice as a guide for the rear end is the way to go. I seriously doubt there would be one complaint that this thing looks "too much" like a Caprice Wagon! Apologies if this doesn't help, sleep is eluding my life more and more.
