Well, system temp was 89F, and it said CPU temp was 100F in BIOS.

So seriously, if you increase the numbers proportionally, will that be a proper method? I just want some setup that will not get super hot, and can be noticeably faster than it is now.

Edit: I am currently looking at a video that shows how to overclock to 4GHz. Will that be way too high for a normal CPU cooler? I cannot go out and buy another cooler probably until my birthday in July. The video has the same CPU as I do.

Edito-Two-o: I just attempted to overclock. Nothing exploded so yey. Now, can it just be as simple as increasing the multiplier? If so, then wow. I know that you need to change the voltage as well.

Sir Edit III: It is definitely the CPU that is the bottleneck. I am now getting at least 40 FPS on Dry Rock. I am going to try a little bit more to see if I can get the Cabster to about 30 FPS. I will try 3.8GHz.

The Edited Side of the Fourth: 3.8GHz works. This shall do for now.

That's nice. My CPU is 2.9GHz stock and I was running it at 3.6GHz when I had the stock cooler. Then I went up to 4.2 as soon as I got my water cooler. (I can go to 5.4 on the multiplier but on my CPU it doesn't actually give any more performance, just a awesome looking number)

I am probably going to get a new case soon enough, even though I like this one. I honestly don't see why fan volume is a problem with others, unless if my fans are just normally quiet. I will most likely get some new accessories unless if I actually start running into problems with the parts. I will be getting BF4 when I get more money (didn't think of the fact that it is only on Origin, not Steam, until it was too money-late), so we shall see about that.

What? Did you blow all your Xmas money on other stuff? (I got a Gamestop gift card which is what I used to pay for most of BF4)

I used my Christmas money to build this gaming computer and I got $100 in Steam cards. I only had about 3 games before, and I had to put this computer to use.

For the Budget your CPU was the best you could do. It is a slight bottleneck for your gpu but the good thing about your PC is the upgradability with your cpu is awesome. If you upgrade to like a 9590 your fps would nearly double.

I bet if I learned how to correctly overclock, and if I got more than the STOCK cooler, I would do better for now on this one. I will definitely be upgrading it later, but I have been told that is how you get the use out of AMD cards.

If your wanting to over clock your GPU do it safely inside of amd's display adapter called and overdrive I think. On a stock cooler don't overclock. Only thing you'll probably do is cause it to heat up and you might end up loosing power. Look towards an h80 for cooling. Or anything like that.

I would use MSI afterburner. You are running the HAWK 270x so you shouldn't have to worry about cooling.

Yeah man I suggested a good gpu for u lol. Don't worry about its cooler. Worry about your CPU cooling.

I am very satisfied with the GPU, and I know it doesn't need extra cooling. Do you think I should get a bigger case later? I will more than likely be able to get a cooler for the CPU this week. I probably may get the pipe thing, because my mom probably doesn't want to spend any more money on this computer, after I had to spend an extra $300 on Windows, CD drive, backup drive, and something else that I can't remember. Also, if I have the computer in a computer desk, is that bad? I keep the front door open, and there is room in the back. But if I have an extra wire floating in front of my CPU cooler right now, will I most likely have to rewire?

I did reorganize since I took this picture, and I was able to make the SATA cord that was touching the graphics card plastic part not be as tight. The wire above the cooler is still there.

Sucks not having a wire management styled case. And look at an h60 then. Cheaper and will keep it cool. Make sure you get some thermal paste too. Like arctic silver or something.

I wouldn't recommend getting battlefield 4. I got it and I haven't played it in like a month. It's pretty bad.

I really hope that you guys all have skype, because I think that would be easier to have a group convo in, and We don't have to constantly refresh the page to get responses.

Also, I play BF4/3 because of the engine. I suck in combat, with a few good/what moments, so I either drive or blow stuff up. If that is what's bad about it, then okay.

Yeah, me too. But I was bored with it the very first day I got it. It's like the same exact game as 3. I think I made a skype. Like three years ago
