Sounds good, thanks for the reply I am planning on converting the things I make for Beamng in GTA if modding gets somewhat accessible, so that's why I was asking. Creating havoc and running over hookers in a self modeled car is the dream
Yeah nothing beats the feeling of getting something in game Once modding is in full effect it should be quite easy with the way Rockstar have compressed everything into large archives, alot of the script files are accessible, heck you can even change the colour of car plate and interior door lights Plus aftermarket parts like bumpers and wheels for each car are stored in a separate model file, alot like beamng's wheels.dae Also if you need more info on optimising and stuff Nvida did a large optimisation guide which I found pretty useful. Its not a particularly hard game to get good settings for and the ones it defaults too are usually pretty forgiving and low. http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/grand-theft-auto-v-pc-graphics-and-performance-guide
So LTT's benchmarks show that GTA V runs at 81 fps maxed out in 1080p with a GTX 970. Yey. I really want to play it. gib sale pls
Very funny. I played it 1-2 years ago at 720p at barely 30fps. That's not an experience, that's just crap #PCMasterRace
We aren't all #60fags. I consider 20 playable. I exceed that. Therefore am happy. On a 1360*768 display. Running out of vram, damn I need a new GPU.
I agree with you about the quote itself...it's stupid..consoles are sometimes better...for example the new mortal kombat...I wish I had a ps4 for it becuase it runs like crap on my gtx660 :/ But if we are beeing serious, without talking anybody down, there is a big difference between 30 fps and 60 fps. 30: http://gfycat.com/serpentineenlightenedgroundhog 60: http://gfycat.com/ShockingWanBlacknorwegianelkhound I hope I won't regret postig this I don't want a console war or any crap like that... Oh yeah also...grenade throwing chop ftw!
Some people prefer pretty graphics at cost of FPS, other prefer high FPS at cost of graphics. I fell in the second. I rather play with near-60FPS with lower settings than having to stand at 30FPS and more fancy graphics. Sometimes it's just about playability (or smoothness).. Luckily I can do both in GTAV (and in pretty much all my Steam Library) so win-win
Just found some pics on the social club site, I took with my phone back in the 360 days My first love. When I get it for pc, the Futo will definitely be my first car aswell.(I plan on starting a new character) These three cars were my daly drivers Me and a buddy after a friendly race down mt. chiliad. I was in the red Sultan.
I'm gonna get rid of my futo and replace it with a sultan. The futo is faster, but the handling is too sloppy for me. AWD > all
I'm playing this at 1360x766 with everything except for textures and post-fx. Putting them to high kills my 750 completely. Also, still running at a solid 60. Really suprised that my 750 can actually handle this.
Depending on where I am on the map I can get as high as 75 fps and as low as 36 fps. 75 in the air and around the beach and 36 in heavy populated areas like downtown. Even my low is still better than consol versions I really am enjoying it on the PC
