You have to do that just to survive let alone finish the race! I usually use a 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. it's pretty good at muscling its way through the competition, but you still gotta look out when braking, those guys who use you as your brakes are pure unadulterated EVIL. I wanna see @figs074 play 1 public online street racing championship in FH5 when there is an aggressive driver. Yes but when every second counts in online and they nudge you just outside of the checkpoints, or into a tree, on purpose, only to honk and message "Too Slow" or some similar BS. it gets old real quick, damage or no damage.
Yes, unless you turn on the setting to make all damage real. That option also gives you more rewards.
Better than having an good race and then being rear-ended by some dumbass and then losing all your SR and iRating Thankfully pickups are unranked so no losses here
Street races in FH5 can quickly turn into bloodbaths, especially when your in 1st and 4 guys with you on their hit list are hot on your heels. When they do go to crap and your pretty good at defensive driving (like me) it can be pretty fun though. It is super satisfying dodging or countering an attack then wiping them out. --- Post updated --- I pride myself on surviving and even thriving during street race bloodbaths in FH5.
Only thing I pay in iRacing is the subscription. To this day I have bought no other content other than iRacing itself and it's still pretty enjoyable. On downtime you can even use paid cars you didn't buy (iRacing is still greedy though) Also only good sim for oval racing (outside of NR2003...) and dirt oval racing which sucks but we can't do nothing but cope
I kinda hate how I'm "watching" like 40 threads but i only get notifs for like 3 of them, until i actually visit the thread again and beamng is like "oh yeah, i forgot you cared about this"... but then that's all the notifications i get for another week or so.
