So I'm thinking of getting into mod creation I've never tried nor started it before so this'll be a first I'm thinking of making a car based on The Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic maybe as a Bruckell or Civetta now again i have zero J-beam experience i slightly know blender but I'm stuck at how to start if anyone is interested in helping this project and or giving tips/advice i could use it and if there are any videos that may be good to learn let me know thanks a have a great day
Hello HighRoller Maybe purchase Automation from Steam because you can port any cars you build into Beam.NG Drive I hope this helps
I honestly feel kinda stupid not giving that advice in the other thread he made... @HighRoller 2 if you have not heard of it you can basically make a car in another game, and port it to BeamNG but it will not deform as good as cars made from scratch because the jbeam is simplified. BUT, you can use the model you created in Automation and improve the jbeam and make parts as you wish later on. Take a look at this mod: https://www.beamng.com/resources/gavril-vertex-na2.13061/ That mod was created using Automation at first but he continued to work on it for 24 months - added custom parts and better jbeam. And it turned out to be one of the best mods on the forum. If i were you Automation is where i would start for sure.
