Why would someone make an electric SBR if that’s literally in the game tho Also, this will be based on the SBR, so it’s not like a scratch-made vehicle, rather an edit of sorts. But then again, a somewhat more extreme version of one, so I dunno.
That’s not charge’s first mod AFAIK. He’s worked with editing some Automation vehicles too. Although idk if that really counts as a real mod, I’d say it does.
Yeah, kinda and it's a great starting point to dabble with an Automation export. But a fully modeled car from scratch is so much more work. And the questions in the first post about 'how to edit JBeam' etc lead me to believe that this won't come to fruition.
I want to try making a mod, and sure it probably won’t be perfect but I’ll try my best --- Post updated --- Hey everyone! Progress update, I’ve been following tutorials and got a node to work and…it didn’t show up in the vehicles menu. If anyone knows how to fix it I can send over the file. I’m also working on getting the early automation build ready. --- Post updated --- Pictures have been added!
Erm, TECHnicly it was drawn in an app called Milanote jokes aside I know it doesn't count but there is progress going on behind the scenes Nope. found the problem, it replaced the SBR4 for some reason. then it broke something and I panicked and deleted it. I'm fixing it though.
For this mod my suggestion is that you start with the eSBR as basis since it resembles to the Tesla Roadster the most and you can do front and rear motors. Then you model the body parts to whatever form you like in blender, make sure the meshes' names and other stuff are separate and do not conflict with the vanilla.
lmao just use the Hirochi eSBR as a base and then remodel the body, doors and roofline in particular, and don't forget the tailgate too. For the JBeam just reuse the eSBR jbeam, no need to make scratch made jbeam.
