Idk if this has been mentioned before, but if you switch DSE to "empty" or to "race" the dashboard becomes like this (see left of the tachometer) 190-4 DCT
I have this weird bug and i dont know what causes it but when im in career mode and during certain missions, it spawns a ccf. the game goes black and it needs a restart, this is after it showed some fatal lua error that mentioned the ccf
In a crash, the hood cam node can just detach itself and fly away (not as in actually fly but go far away from the body from the momentum of the crash). I’m not sure if this is how it should be/if there’s a way to make it stick to the car.
I don't know if it has been reported yet, but aftermarket parts have numerous UV mapping issues (primarily TIMS stuff).
yes --- Post updated --- yeah, i realised i forgot to look over these just after release --- Post updated --- can you reproduce this and then send the userfolder\0.31\beamng.log
I mean it’s basically Sport Mode, right? Just called Track. Or a Sport Mode doubling as a Race Mode. idk
Could you maybe add some option to disable ADAS (without disabling traction and stability control), like there is a button in the interior to disable parking sensors?
Current 1.0.1 changelog: - fixed eCCF not having a working esc - fixed auto lights not enabling low beams - fixed getvehobbs causing issues on lua reload - updated auto headlight logic - fixed most aftermarket skin UVs - renamed S20 engine block to a more apt name - fixed end of all 3 bonnets' UVs - added aftermarket skins to literally everything - added all skins to vela textures (vela_main and vela_RF) - fixed screen not showing steam name - added 5kg and 10kg nitro options - made the emotors more efficient - fixed conflict between CCF-B and the pre-rework equivalent The goal is to fix literally all of the known bugs on message #1, but some things may not be possible to fix/i havent got the skills to fix
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but for the beam pattern for LHD is incorrect. Currently the beam pattern for RHD markets is also used for the LHD model. RHD models have the correct beam pattern and thus don't need to be changed. Current (incorrect) beam pattern for LHD Better beam pattern for LHD (flipped the beam pattern textures)
This setup is actually 3 seconds slower than the original setup on a 1.35 km 40m-distance slalom. So no thank you! Besides it makes no sense in increasing the spring rate and leave damping untouched.
@Theo Wilkinson Any plans on adding an Inline 4 engine? I really like the sound and feeling of an I4, and especially in a Roadster the perfect engine is an I4 IMO I understand the idea of the boxer like in the Subaru BRZ, but it just doesnt handle the same as an I4 Also sorry for posting it here, i already wrote it in the other thread but you don't seem to be active there
not OEM or from me, no- it was always meant to have a F4/F6 im sorry, its incredibly difficult to manage instagram, discord, the beamng forums and some other places all at once when you have such an unexpectedly popular mod
I believe you that it felt better because it is more responsive. But unfortunately it is always a compromise between cornering speed (soft suspension better) and responsiveness (hard suspension better). I think not the damping is the problem, but the anti-roll bars may be too rigid. Then the car rather skids than turn-in. Maybe that´s a first step. And slalom speed isn´t everything. But also on the hill climb in Italy/Casteletto the test-mule was 4 seconds slower, I tested it.
