WIP Beta released Hirochi Drag Strip (and Le Mans track) V0.10.1

Hirochi already have a raceway, so why not a drag strip? (also, Le Mans track)

    The main drag strips have been added and, which has been pointed out, the area is very bland. What would you like to see there? One idea I had was to have Race of Champions style courses with the AI. What this is is a course in which it combines two short courses into one and the AI and player car takes the same course but at different times. (I'm bad at explaining things so here's a video of the event in action):

    Quick update to the map, the layout of the track has been fully completed and reflects that of the real track in real life. Also, started to place some borders to the track and the start/finish line and included full AI support - AI is rather stupid and likes to take the bridge at 200MPH but it is there!. Should be out soon!

    I like the track, but there are a couple issues:

    - the AI seems to derp quite a lot, not only on the bridge. In fact, it never managed to get to the bridge. It keeps running the tightest possible line and inevitably get stuck or roll over the giant kerbs.
    - the bridge has some invisible elements that keep grabbing the car, thus making the crossing almost impossible (see pic below).
    - the map automatically spawns a SBR under the bridge (again, see pic).

    The idea is really cool, and if you can improve on it I foresee quite a lot of fun for myself! ;) Keep up the great work!

    Do you know what car is in the thumbnail of the map? It looks like a drag version of the 200BX. If you know where you downloaded the car from, can you please send me the URL to it?

    i love this map..but hate that the AI stop to take a turn in the middle of the drag track....

    Yeah that's the problem with setting the AI mode to "Random" - they like to turn around and take shortcuts that they really shouldn't when they feel like it. Once the manual AI mode is fully implemented, it should be possible to set out a path for the AI properly.
