That truck reminds me of the Mercedes Econic in european, Freightliner Econic in the US. I know something like this probably won’t get made but I still think it’s worth mentioning.

^The Econic is often used as a garbage truck, and as you can see it can have bus style doors on one side. It’s also available in both left and right hand drive versions and the ride height is about the same as most transit buses.

^ They can also be outfitted as box trucks, flatbed, fire engines or even semi tractors (these are mostly seen in the Europe area market). The only obvious difference between these trucks and the bus is that the trucks are front engined.

Also as a note, a truck like what I described above would be almost certainly be a separate vehicle model, and for something more relevant to this bus, I do think a mobile triage center (basically an ambulance bus) and a mobile police command center could be nice additions.

Incase anyone isn’t sure what a triage bus is, here is how the interiors of triage bus typically look. They are used for mass casualty response such as during natural disasters or large scale industrial accidents, when moving large numbers of people to hospitals is not feasible.

    Some progress.

More gearbox selectors (from LV234/233 and 834 iirc) and audio system versions (based on Clarion 5000/4000 and 1000).

    What who think?

I have some doubt about proportions in some places, but overally - very close to real bus

Will this be available with a drivers cockpit divider?

Also a version with a sliding clear glass window

And with no window and the lower part only (I know it’s not a great picture but it’s the best one I could find.

Buttons and handbrake added (layout from LV234).
Maybe I make all buttons functional (if I find way how implement some script things).

    Some progress/news on today.

    Progress:

Driver seat (a little bit simplified for optimisation purposes).
    upload_2023-5-23_21-36-2.png

Some AGS (automatic guide system) things (dont think that I can implement it in BeamNG, but who know).
PS. This is NOT autopilot, afaik it smth like GPS navigation.
    upload_2023-5-23_21-36-33.png upload_2023-5-23_21-37-13.png

Route advisors added to side and rear windows.
    upload_2023-5-23_21-45-44.png upload_2023-5-23_21-46-42.png

    And some other parts/details added.

    News (more like "next plans"):

3D model is mostly ready (base LV280 only), and I think next thing what I make - I start making UV map/textures and etc. And I hope (if all goes acording to plan) what in next 1-1.5 months I start a JBEAM making (after textures). Also (it only planned, and can be changed) first version release is planned on mid autumn (smth like October-November) of this year.

In next 2 or 3 weeks I be focused on model UV-unwrapping and no news be here.

    Stay tuned!
