DUUUDEEE I'm so excited for this mod ngl. my father had one with forged STI swap with around 380hp as a daily sleeper family car. Unfortunatelly the truck crashed into my father and the car was totaled, but my dad was okay thankfully. I have a lots of good memories with this car and it is unfortunate that my father was not able to replicate it again due to it being rare in my country. Anyways I would not mind paying money for this mod if it is done nicely. Good luck!
Current update, started to model some of the chassis, engine bay and stuff like that. Started with the pessima engine bay, and have heavily modified it. it still needs alot of work, i'll probably have to re model the pilars to get them to look more realistic, and merge it with the rest of the body. Ive also gone ahead and modeled the facelift outback bumper. prefacelift for comparison
Don't be too sad.(˘•ω•˘)The car was also a very important member of the family. At least he protected your father at the last time.
I’m trying to resolve it with beamng support through email. If I you want any further information have a look at this thread: https://www.beamng.com/threads/subaru-legacy.91824/ But for now I’ll supply anyone who asks with a google drive link.
It wont be payed, this does not mean it wont be high quality. I want to get this as accurate to the real vehicle irl. I have a stable job and don't need the extra money, if I were to make it paid.
But with a paid mod, people will want justify their investment and will be convinced that the mod is very good. They´ll look for the good things and not for the bugs like with free mods.
Man. That's normal. With a paid mod, people'll be complaining about that. And I guess it's already decided anyways, so
I am really happy that you are making this mod and putting the time and effort into it to make it high quality. Thank you!
Yo! I haven’t read this thread yet, but I’m about to. I have a model of the Baja, and I’m working on interior assets for it so I can set it up in Assetto and BeamNG. We should chat! I have an 05 Baja Turbo IRL that I’m working on virtual copy of, to practice putting in walls at my regional tracks. I have data from autocross events to get the performance/handling characteristics close.
