Hey Theo! I have some names for the SUV! HOLLOWAY-Rowe Meridian HOLLOWAY-Rowe Regent HOLLOWAY-Rowe Majesty HOLLOWAY-Rowe Oakland HOLLOWAY-Rowe Glasgow HOLLOWAY-Rowe London HOLLOWAY-Rowe Ben HOLLOWAY-Rowe London
this car doesn’t have a model name, not because it is yet to get one, but because its not intended to have one lol holloway-rowe as a brand was formed as a merger with this car as its first release- so for decades it was the flagship (not necessarily the only one like the RR of irl), so it didn’t actually need the model name to be distinct it is possible it will get a name from the late-80s onwards, but i want to come up with that myself, and it isnt a priority
Wow this project look very interesting. Love all the detachable parts planned. Will keep an eye on this one
Classic is actually nice name tho. plus what does the dmv put for model since some places require it?
the DVLA here mark the newer ones as Land Rover (make) Range Rover (model), but the older ones seem to just be Land Rover or Rover
do you plan on re creating jeremy clarksons range rover from top gear, i feel like that would be the basis for a good crawler version
Just came across this today, looking amazing as always Theo! I'm looking forward to this mate. EDIT: The body shell/structure looks great, do you guys own one of these IRL or are you working from references? Either way, looks amazing.
I just had a thought.... How are you intending the "Rowe" part of the name to be pronounced? With this being a lore-friendly Land Rover, I was just wondering about this. As in Mandarin, 'Rover' is phonetically pronounced "Row-way" (Quote: Jeremy Clarkson on the UK 'Top Gear' when talking about the ChDM versions of other cars). I was just wondering if it should be pronounced in the same way as "Rover" in Mandarin, or in the same way as the well known English surname? ;-)
