How about making the rebadge for the repo, and then making an addon on the forums to change the badging to original Honda badging? That would satisfy the users which are against the rebadge.

It wouldn't make sense as a Hirochi anyways, Hirochi is more like Mitsubishi and Subaru, while Ibishu is more like Toyota and Honda

How about naming it something like Covet Type-R? Because Covet already resembles the old Suzuki Swift, so naming it Type-R not only add variety but also make the non-similar looks sensible. What do you think?

 

No. The closest real car to Covet is the Civic, this is also a Civic. I don't see any problems.

 

we already have a type-R config called the ZXI and i hope this gen of the covet will have the same configs as on original covet

 

ZXi is more like the Si, type-r could be the GTz

Yes, GTz would be more correct as a top sports trim.

 

Not really, the Gtz is more for awd cars with more power, it's like Gtr with Nissan. Zxi is probably more appropriate as its seen in the sport Covet and fwd sport Pessima. That is of course assuming that this car is exclusively fwd.

Zxi is a sporty trim with just a bit more power, GTz is a performance-oriented version, like Type-R.
