Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 Then I want to fix ALL of the clipping. This is a beautiful wee model.
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 Great job with the Prelude man! I may be the only one here but I love the low sitting interior camera...feels more natural for me since I usually have my seat a bit layed back. I don't know if you want to hear this again but here it is The model and the textures are unbelievably good. The jbeam itself is also really good for the amount of experience you had with it. I hope you'll return one day back to modding for Beamng after the game gets more stable. If not, I hope to see you on the Carma forums Ps: People, try to enjoy it a bit more instead of complaining over small semi important details. I get it! Everybody wants a perfect outcome but it just got released...pointing out every little mistake right from the beginning may be a bit of a let down for the creator... Doesn't have to be the case with cb and I think it isn't...but it's still worth pointing out, I think. Anyways this is my cup of tea, please do not reply about this "Ps"...I don't want to derail the thread! It's all about this beautiful Honda right now!
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 What the fuck is going on here. I have tried to clear the cache 10 times and reinstall it 6
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 No, he means the bug where the wheels just get "excited" and start spinning on their own, this appears to happen during a heavy crash and the car doesn't even have to be driveable anymore. This is a bug known to appear on the official vehicles as well. I'm sure they're working on getting it fixed. Back to topic, I like the car overall but I just think the stock suspension could be softer and the car should lean more into the corners. The biggest issue for me is the tire-tuning. The front tires just simply have too much grip and the car doesn't understeer when it should (you can do a 180 while having the wheel fully turned to a side and pedal on the floor) and the rear tires seem to skid a lot too instead of holding the car in corners (but I think this is caused because the front tires grip so hard). But I'm sure this will get worked on, just thought I'd point out what is troubling me. The model and textures on the other hand are excellent! Thanks for taking your time to make this epic Prelude.
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 Here ya go- - - - Updated - - - all my vehicles work there and the prelude worked fine for an hour or so there.
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 You said yourself you put it in content, which is the exact wrong place but shouldnt cause that issue.
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 Yes I did realize he put it in the cache folder later but I didn't realize that this prelude hates regular methods of installation.
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 You are not supposed to ever touch the content folder. He put it in the mods folder which is where mods go funnily enough. He didnt put it in the cache folder. Cache is BeamNG/cache, not BeamNG/mods
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 I have been touching the content folder for the entire time I have had beamng now. and nothing has arisen except for now I don't know why the devs messed up our installation methods. - - - Updated - - - also I didn't put it in content I put it in vehicles which is a separate folder I made in the steam directory.
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 Yeah I was thinking that it would be fixed and yeah I wouldn't blame you at all, I'm thinking of doing the same on any of my major mods when I release them. Just knew you didn't really want them appearing in game I was only mentioning the mods folder as a few people wanted it, I personally always extract the mods I download into the BeamNG>Mods folder but yeah I don't think the devs will change it again. Also yeah reflections are pretty weird at the minute but still better imo but I know were you're coming from and yes they are pretty heavy on my FPS too above 128 resolution After some more testing I have to say the jbeam also has some pretty nice handling to be honest, other than the suspension problems that have already been mentioned the handling is nice and very directional You're doing it wrong: Put the downloaded .zip in to My Documents>BeamNG>Mods>Vehicles. Its pretty simple.
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 The devs didn't mess up the installation methods, they tried to make them so you couldn't mess up installation.
Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0 Hey man great car but it may not be realistic but could u make it 4WD plz! and fix the tiny problems people tell ya about
