    So I was watching Spiers review West Coast USA and I saw that flames were coming out of that exhaust all the time, but when I use my custom tuned Civetta Bolide (it's made from the race version) I barely see sparks. It's probably something to do with my settings, but I don't know what to turn up in order to get better looking afterfire. If anyone knows please help.

    Inside the engine.jbeam file are some lines about afterfire that you can change to get more or less:
    "particulates":0.05
    "instantAfterFireCoef": 0.3,
    "sustainedAfterFireCoef": 0.5,
    I might make a little mod that gives insane afterfire to all the vehicles now that I think about it.

    sounds cool, but how should I open a .jbeam file? notepad? And I would have to do that separately for each car I want to have more afterfire with, correct?

    I suggest downloading Notepad++, it's a really hand way of editing stuff like this. And yes, you do need to do it separately for any cars you want it on.

    If you want the most afterfire just remove the whole exhaust system, or install the closest thing to a straight pipe exhaust that you can find.
    Remember that afterfire is simply caused by unburned fuel travelling through the exhaust at combustion temperature, and only igniting at the end when it receives oxygen. In theory the only requirements for plentiful afterfire are:
    1- An engine tuned for a rich fuel mixture
    2- As little exhaust restrictions as possible

    Personally, I've found that the stock dual exhaust on the Bolide is actually less restrictive than the racing quad exhaust, so the dual exhaust gives me more afterfire. Of course, no exhaust at all gives me almost neverending afterfire :)
