How can I write a torque converter that is always locked?

I have no idea how to create a torque converter that is locked at all times. I'm trying to write a direct drive and the only way to do that seems to be through using a locked converter and automatic transmission.

set minimum gear to 1 or 0 and minimum rpm to 1 or 0 whichever works better

Why not just use a clutch without a transmission?

Oh you want to use the stock vehicleController for this? Be aware, it's not made at all for a transmission less setup and you will probably run into issues at some point.
The correct way of approaching this is to write a new controller which actually matches the idea of having no transmission (and multiple additional electric motors?).

In any case, you can make the clutch not react to inputs of the vehicleController by making it listen to some other electrics value as you showed above.
