How did you discover BeamNG

Jesus Christ, every time I see your signature I want to put a gun to my head.

Anyway to be OT, I discovered it from Rigs of Rods.

 

I discovered NG through the Cryengine video back in 2011.

 

I first got ror. In November 2011. My god when i first drove the Honda i was like omg. Then the rest of gabes awesome cars. Then i was thinging ror is getting old. ( bags no huge updates ect) So i looked up new car games with car damage. The first beamng video was found. Just one day after it came out. Then i found the fourm. Then join when beamng came out. And so far beamng is awesome ( if i can get the update to work )

 

I first heard of Beam when Nadeox1 shared this back in 2012

Promptly forgot about it after getting RoR until I registered my account.

 

I found it through that nerdcubed video. Didn't expect so many people to find it through that. I'm very glad I watched that video...

 

I was just browsing YouTube and a video showed up about it on the recommended videos. Finally YouTube did something right

 

Saw a techdemo on YT and I was sold.

 

Discovered RoR in ~07, went with it ever since, and now i am here.

 

A video by kurtjmac. LOL I thought it was called "Beam MG Drive" not "BeamNG.Drive".

 

Heh, I'd only been on ROR for about 4 months when I saw the BeamNG thread. Came over, watched the first video when it was at something like 20k views and waited. August 2013 came around and I bought it within something like 6 hours of release. Used mobile data to download it.

 

Yep, nerdcubeds video got me hooked, downloaded the demo the same day as he posted the video. Proceeded playing but unfortunately got a very large boner. After righting my desk and placing the monitor and keyboard back in place I had to smash the take my money button very very hard.

 

I still remember the release.. I downloaded the demo first and it downloaded pretty quickly since I was one of the first and then I bought the game and played the demo while it took a long time to download.

 

I watched the countdown end on my phone in the middle of a water park an hour away from my house. >_>
That was a shitty trip. Would have rather been home playing Beamng.

I says by first time ok ror forums and i watch the vídeo ok youtube :3 then i ser the demo and i downloaded it and signed it in forums in 2013 this year i buyed the game :3

I was on the Rigs of Rods forums when I found the post of Gabster saying "screw it" and had the unfinished 2 cars there in the attachment. One I forgot what it was called the other that Mitsubishi space wagon. I checking that forum sometimes. Eventually someone said that he went over to beamng. So I checked it out. And then I was like "HOLY CRAP"! I check this game and the dev blog frequently to see if it updates. I should really get a better motherboard though. My graphics card is in compatibility mode and is as powerful as my old one, but not horribly laggy.
