The only rule is not to Boast... On the Hirochi Raceway, I could spawn 14 Sunbursts....most of these were livery mods. How many cars can you spawn?
I've spawned up to 17+ vehicles, Just freeze physics and the menu is a lot faster, i could probably go more than 17, but I was at 3 FPS
should we set a specific car and map for this since it is much easier to run the pigeon on grid, pure than T series on wcusa also remove mods since that affects the game
The menu freezes for me, but I minimise the game, watch a YouTube clip and then return to the game....beamng doesn't crash, it just takes a really long time --- Post updated --- Nope, this is a "Real Game Test" - if you don't normally play with mods, don't enable them, but if you do, keep them enabled...and don't pick a REALLY big vehicle or a REALLY small vehicle - because these obviously affect the game, the sunburst is kinda in the middle. --- Post updated --- I currently can't run W.C.U.S.A without like 0.1 FPS :/ - but I have fun on all the other maps
I loaded 21 sunbursts on Hirochi, the game didn't crash but even with physics frozen I got around 20 fps, and with physics loaded, it tanked to 6 fps.
If I counted right, I think I have 64 cars here... they are the offroad sunburst at the raceway since that's the place (and kind of the car) that others used... game didn't crash, but you can tell where it started getting so slow that I stopped bothering changing colors... here I thing the game was only running around 5 fps... I paused it to take the screenshot though because it was taking a PAINFULLY long time to get the camera this high without doing so. It might have been able to go further, but honestly, I didn't want to push it as every car at that point was nothing more than a chore to spawn in.
Yeah, it is pretty impressive... clearly the game has been improved massively since the last time I tried this stunt. Last time I tried, I could only get 16 cars before the 17th car would just fail to spawn... the game wouldn't crash, it would just refuse to spawn the car. Now... now it almost looks like there really isn't going to be a limit. Like I said in my post, while the game was still running and I probably could have gone further, when your down below 5fps, what is really the point?
4 to 5 on my tablet 8 to 9 on my pc on Tennessee USA Roane County --- Post updated --- the limit is 100 but youll need a server to run it on --- Post updated --- nasa cauld work on youre pc lol --- Post updated ---
Whoever claimed 16GB being enough for BeamNG lied. Paused of course, unpaused we don't talk about, there would be no FPS, it would be FPM or FPH For really spawning it is like this and yes, I have shadows off, because that is usually how I play the game, shadows just totally kill performance of the game for me. Fake static shadows would be fun. I really got bored out and could not spawn them until I would of got 5fps. This is where I barely dropped below 60FPS, that is 8 cars: Slow i7-6700 and 1050Ti, these days BeamNG uses a lot more GPU than it used over year ago, so faster GPU might actually do something with shadows, but still shadows are incredible heavy performance killer in BeamNG, I'm just not sure what they can do about that, there would need to be some kind of distance limit for shadows or lighter version of the shadows, that would help a LOT with performance.
My computer is fine fully loaded even with physics on, idk why. Only on Utah and Gridmap. Half the time my computer will chug with like 4 cars, so who knows.
Challenge for you, full grid of Sunburst, set AI to random and drive short and long route: They drive like F1 in Monaco when it rains: But it is possible, that is a lot of improvement in BeamNG, also AI is behaving pretty much normal (is that a good thing?):
(Yes, and it is a 12K (11520x7200) screenshot so you should be able to see the details of all the cars if you zoom in a little)
