My monitor is a Samsung C24F396FHU. I had it on top of books because it was too low for me, and one day it fell off on front of me, hitting the mouse which broke the screen. I couldn't react at time sadly. I wanted to fix it, so I was looking for the LED panels of the monitor so I could replace it but I couldn't find one. And I was also finding the service manual of the monitor but nothing. I've also read that new monitors are harder to repair and more dangerous because of high voltages. I tried to replace my monitor but my warranty didn't cover physical damage. Now I have to buy another monitor and I don't know what to do with the broken one.
Warranty never covers damages caused by user (even if accidental like that). It covers plain old faults that occur because of some premature parts failure or manufacturers error. If you can't find the panel (an easy enough swap), buy a new monitor. It's literally only option. Usually the replacement panel isn't much cheaper than a new monitor anyway
Make video of angry gamer vs monitor, wreck monitor totally with greatest of angst using various methods, upload video to youtube, monetize and buy new monitor with earned money. Of course there is a risk that your video does not go viral hit and that you can't get even money what you would by selling it to spares, but in this world earning money is related to risk you are willing to take, little risk is little money, big risk is big money, win or loss.
I will sell it for spare parts then. I saw I can get about 50 bucks for it. I wanted to fix it because it was new and it really hurt breaking it too soon. Next time I will be more careful with my next monitor. Thanks for the help anyways.
