I have tried multiple times to get mods off the forums, and it doesn't work. Is it because I got the game as the Humble Bundle option? I am very confused. If someone knows how to install them or extract them, please let me know.

It's just drag and drop. Put em in the mods folder.

Is it the same way with every purchase option?

Actually, I need to know which file it would be in... In the Beam folder, I only have art, ui, and vehicles

    Thank you, this should help.

I'm new to BeamNG.drive. Literally I just figured out how to use slow-mo, and maybe 10 minutes ago, I learned how to adjust the cannon.

Does it take a while to load up the mods into the game?

Some mods are big and it takes some time to load, but if you install mod manual way, putting it mods folder, it should come up when you re-open the menu. If you downloaded from worldsofmods, then it is all messed up and needs fixing as they package mods wrong way in order to get people install their shady installer, which might install who knows what else along with the mod.

Some useful keys as you are new one:
Left control key -activates node grabber, is used also in combination with other keys.
    Lctrl+w parts menu
    Lctrl+e vehicles menu
    Lctrl+r reload game without cache
Alt+U hide/unhide UI (improves FPS quite a bit on some machines and maps)
Keypad numbers control camera, 4,6,8,2 also 9,2 FOV and 1 toggle look behind
pageup, pagedown, move camera up and down (works at least in relative camera)
Insert, recovers vehicle, also fixes, hold it to go get car back towards where you started.
r restores vehicle to start location or last location where you did press insert, or changed vehicle parts/vehicle.
    c change camera
    shift-c freecamera

Also in options you might want to enabled relative camera, you can use wsad keys to move that camera around and it stays attached to vehicle, also it does not shake like cockpit camera.

Wiki is kinda manual for the game, so it has lot of useful information, sometimes finding can be bit of a pain though.

You don't extract mods, you just drag and drop them to mods folder as instructed in aforementioned link.

I got the Trueno mod, I drag and dropped it into the mods file, and it is not appearing.

I have 40 mods already installed from the in-game, should I get rid of those before I install the mod?
    --- Post updated ---
I don't know. Maybe the mod doesn't want to work for some reason

I've tried most of the cars in the repository, so I am running out of things to try.

Maybe, the ''Trueno'' is outdated, not correctly pack? Do other mods work fine?

Where did you get Trueno mod?

One on forums does work by dragging and dropping for me, but if you got it off from some mod site, then it might not work so simple way.

Download from first post and put that to mods folder, it should work:
    https://www.beamng.com/threads/toyota-ae86-trueno-levin.52119/

If not, there can be conflicting mod, which is annoying to figure out as one needs to remove mods and put them back one by one.

The linked mod is the one I have been downloading for awhile. I just drag and dropped it, and I closed out so it can hopefully load up.

How long did it take for the Trueno mod to load fully into the game
    --- Post updated ---
I got rid of all the mods, and the only thing that should be in the Vehicles slot are the base cars, and the Trueno mod.
    --- Post updated ---
The Trueno might be outdated. I did download the Gladiator when I first got the game and it worked...

I am going to get another mod from the forum and get back to you guys.

    Yes!
I got the Trueno to work! TY

I have the Trueno but now some other mods will not work...:(
I got that 80s fullsize pack, a mitsubishi evo from the forum, and a mercedes from the forum
    --- Post updated ---
I downloaded the mod off of forum, and then I drag and dropped the zip folder into the mods folder, and then it worked
    --- Post updated ---
It did take a while to load though
    --- Post updated ---
Does closing out make it load to the Vehicles a bit faster?

I somewhat have a good strategy to downloading mods. You download the .zip. and then you drag and drop it to the mods folder, and then if you don't have one, create a folders folder, put the .zip in there, take it back out, put it back into the mods folder, and then redownload the .zip, take out the original .zip, and then put the new one in and it works

That is how I got the Trueno and it just worked with the Skoda

    No.
Just follow this and don't spread misleading/confusing information:
