The Demon variant of the 200BX is a real 204-mph monster. Seriously, I would not usually expect that from a late-1980s/early-1990s Japanese sports coupe with only a single turbo on a 2.0-liter I4. I do notice that the AI tend to spin out a crazy amount while driving the Drift 200BX. Sort of like this:

*enters 90-degree bend at 30 mph*
    *spins out so hard*

Anyway, great work on the 200BX; one of my favorite BeamNG.drive vehicles to use.

Has anyone else noticed that the wheel hubs on the base model were quietly switched from 4-lug to 5-lug? I didn't see anything about it in the change log.

Please don't be that guy. Threads on official vehicles don't expire, especially when relevant information is being contributed.

they are both options, and always have been. He was saying that on the base model 200bx, they switched the wheels to 5 lugs by default, as opposed to previously, when they were 4 lugs.

Oh yeah, you guys have it easy for s-chassis out there. I live right across the river from Omaha Nebraska so everything around here is like $5000+

(Is this considered a bump?) A modern version of the 200BX would be pretty great I think. Maybe something like this?

The 200BX is based on the Nissan 200sx S chassis. The 370Z is obviously based on the Nissan Z family which goes back to the 240z or S30Z .. So a more modern Version of the 200bx would more likely look like an S15 Silvia since the S chassis is dead

Oh. It looks similar nonetheless. I wouldn't bother a newer version being based on a different car..

the 200vs is really nice! Have you ever considered more custom parts? there is this nice mod by errors for the 200bx, it adds loads of custom parts, e.g. Transparent hood, and I'd love to see that in vanilla beamng. Also, support for slow computer s? Mine gets two fps if I'm lucky, on grid small pure! Even turning off crash physics doesn't help...

The Pessimas both had different vehicle inspirations... but personally, I agree with Nistingur. If it wants to be based off the S-Chassis, it should be based on an car that uses that same chassis, but in an newer vehicle.

I think the closest thing you can find to the 200sx nowadays is the GT86, could be something based on it design wise and have a more nissanesc engine with a turbo. This game mixes cars and since the s chassis were all prety similar and short living they should make something new.

That'd be interesting, and maybe there could be an alternate version by Hirochi, similar to the Subaru-Toyota relationship with the vehicle.
