    Let’s get ready to rumble!!!

Anyways, I’ll give the devs the benefit of the doubt. I think they’re more focused on the T-series considering how it is still incomplete after two updates, one of which being entirely devoted to it. In my opinion, they should have pushed the 200bx remaster to 0.33 and just focus solely on completing the semi. I remember people saying how 0.28 seemed “phoned in” so I’d think the devs would want to avoid repeating that.

Or perhaps all these problems with the bx’s component models and textures will be fixed in future hotfixes. Either way, I hope this will all get sorted out asap.

I just meant that the vast majority of women know less about the device of the car than men) "this is a statistical fact" the same as the fact that men are worse versed in the number of manicure techniques or something)

Resorting to sexism is just an absolute low blow. What does that have to do with how a car is designed?

Also this, If this is such a glaring issue, does it really make it that literally unplayable ™? No. A bunch of other cars have had worse "issues" than this, with the amount of work and effort that's gone into these cars, I'd be thankful for them putting that much effort into it even if it isn't correct. The remaster has brought life back into this car when it needed it badly, it drives alot better than it did, and these "glaring mistakes" could've been easily rectified if it was simply reported and not do whatever the hell this is.

There is nothing more permanent than temporary) Moreover, we have plenty of examples where nothing has been fixed. The only way to put everything in order is to do it initially well.

Okay, I replaced the word "female designer" with "elf designer") I hope this didn't hurt anyone's elvish feelings or any newcomer)

"and not the design of the car, but the design, architecture, layout of the engine compartment mechanical parts"

You're already in the process of getting dragged for what you've said, and I'm sure that the moderators will respond as they see fit. But to give my two cents: blaming women for the mechanical inaccuracy of a 3d model is not a healthy response (only hot takes here, folks).

There probably are statistics out there that back up your claim; that men, in general, probably do tend toward knowledge of blue-collar matters, and women, in general, probably do not. The problem is that you're complaining about the individual person who modeled an engine bay wrong, and just sort of... labeling them? It's not even that it's just misogynist. It's that you're not complaining about what that particular developer did, but about what they are (or what you think they are). You're not asking for a mistake to be fixed, you're indignant that developer is of the wrong type.

Also, not to put too fine a point on it, but... I have seen what an engine bay looks like in games like GTA and Just Cause. All-in-all: not great, and if the statistics hold true, they were most likely modeled and textured by a man.

It does kinda suck though i loved the impressive modeling insane attention to detail on the bolide remaster, on the cintilla, ect. Its what i love about the official cars.

The etk 800 remaster was kinda meh for me to
I like checking out all the little model details whem a new car or remaster is done. And all the things mentioned on the 200bx i noticed right away when looking at it for the first time but didn'tmention any of them except the intercooler.

There is more important things that need to ve workedb on right now amd its not a huge deal but I wouldn't be against a engine model refresh/fix some point in the far future.

Not that it really matters who did the majority of the work on the car, only that despite doing a lot of good, also managed to do a lot of not-so-good.

    screenshot_2024-04-26_22-11-51.png screenshot_2024-04-26_22-06-46.png screenshot_2024-04-26_21-57-32.png
    - The factory rear bumper is objectively a mess, inside and out (completely missing polys around the exhaust cutout for example) and detailed textures for the inside edges on most body panels have been completely neglected and instead they have opted for a satin black texture.
    - The front fenders have a shading error under the trim and the fender liners clip through the front quarter by a small amount since they have been made unnecessarily wide (or they were made to fit the popup front and haven't been re-made to fit the fixed headlight front, I'm not too sure).

There are also small issues with the Coupe's UV Map that I mentioned in another thread.

I have only noticed these myself because I am working on a mod for the BX and have obviously had plenty of time to get intimate with the meshes, but the more I work with them the more I notice issues that, in my opinion, shouldn't have been missed. I understand that these issues aren't all that problematic in the grand scheme of things and most likely won't get fixed (because issues like this never are - as I have seen previously with the Covet) but they honestly do a disservice to the overall quality of the game, making the work on the BX appear more like an amateur mod than quality official content.

Could this indicate that 3D modeling is often outsourced? the whole game starts to look a little like some kind of borscht... I don't see any quality standard from one machine to another, it feels like each machine is made by completely different people "teams". Is it possible that production is going on in parallel? and then they start collecting Frankenstein from what happened?) then it is not surprising that every detail is not attached properly

I want to remember everyone (@Pr9tkin and some others in particular) that reports are more than welcome (as always, those push us to improve and fix things),
keep them constructive and please remember there are human beings on the other side reading those.

No need for snarky comments that make fun of people's work, really what do you earn in doing so?

    Keep things constructive.

Tbf, the ETK 800 and K-Series weren't remastered, they were just refreshed. It's the first thing they say in the 0.28 release notes:

Hopefully more improvements in the future and possibly expand the BX chassis to more premium Japanese saloon market to compete with the ETK I-Series. Yes, with diesel 4-pot and I6 engines.

Does anyone else think the remaster sticks a little too close to the S13 template? In the speculation period people were talking about rotaries, V6s and I6s, AWD, AWS, and other things found on Japanese sports cars of the era. While yes there are mods to fill people's niches with remastered cars and content that was or wasn't included, the BX-Series simply doesn't have the blend of real-world inspiration like other vehicles.

(P.S. Why no 180BX? Why are the Ibishu remasters full of JDM variants when we don't have a Japan map, and we have two European maps but no EUDM configs)

Yes, but that doesn't mean people will take it that way... (as shone by other posts on this thread)

I didn't say I wouldn't use it, I meant that I would always notice it whenever I opened the hood for something, and it would bug me.

Seriously, what the heck are they thinking lol.

I'll just drive my JDM BX in EUDM Italy until we get a JDM japan.
