    a 2.8 I6 or 3.0 V6? The I6 is probably the more suitable option.

    If an I6 will fit (they're very long engines), then possibly :)

    More likely would be a 3.0 V6 that'd also end up in the Pessima.

    Well, Given the 200BX name I would assume a 2.0L I4? Maybe a 280BX for the 2.8L I6 OMG suggested? If that could even be done with out having to re-texture badges etc etc.

    Yeah, I could give them different names/badges, but I think the 200 will probably just end up being a meaningless number like a lot of real cars.

    For example the Nissan 200SX (S12) with the 3.0 V6 was still called a 200SX.

    the first photo is of a 240sx engine compartment, in the second photo is of a 1jz (inline 6) and its a REALLY tight fit, good luck trying to fit a v12 in it.

    Well, length is the real problem, and a V12 will be no longer than an I6 with half the displacement. So if you can fit a 2.8L I6, you could (theoretically) fit a 5.6L V12 (assuming you don't run into width problems).

    I dont know.. there are some problem with the front bumper and the general rear shape, it isn't "sporty" enough.

    I think the s13 lineup was something like 180sx:ca18de(t?) 240sx:ka24e and ka24de and 200sx: sr20det

    But there's also the sentra which is called the 200sx a lot which I think is stupid but w/e

    Remember though that later sentra SE-R came with an sr-20de mounted for fwd use. The engines I often see in budget Datsun swaps like college kid owned 510s and roadsters.

    I feel like the rear end needs to be a little more square to fit the era. Lots of smooth edges for its time, kind of reminds me of the Mitsubishi Eclipse(95-99). Obviously they look nothing alike, but it's pretty curvy. Though I think a 2.8 I6 would be pretty sweet in the front of this car :rolleyes:

    Which era would that be? It's meant to be an early 90s car - a time period with an abundance of smooth curves. For example, here's a 1993 Mazda:

    Hey look, a 93+ MX-6. That's the next generation after my car, 89' MX-6. (I can't stand the 93+, they don't look anything like the 88-92 gen that I love so much)

    Lol, neat.


    But anyway, on topic-ish. An i4 and an inline 6 feels right for the 200BX.

    I'm pretty sure the 200sx was just the european model of the 180sx, and also came with the ca18det in the s13. So there the 200 also doesn't really have anything to do with the engine size. Also the 180sx came with the sr20det in later model years I think. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

    How exactly do you build these cars with out some type of visualizer? Do you guys have one? Or are you just editing the file, loading it and then testing it all while in game?
