    You can take it off, and/or swap it for a selection of spare wheels.
    AMC/Jeep did. It's much more difficult to steal then exterior mounted wheels, and doesn't harm crash safety.

    It's secured very well, you have to hit it extremely hard to break it off its mount. It was designed like that to be safe, they didn't take any shortcuts while designing the XJ :p

    this looks amazing! I cannot wait for this to be released. Hopefully soon. The xj is my favorite jeep literally ever so its awesome that I’ll be getting it in beam

    Will you be doing custom sounds at all for this mod, current, future. If you do I feel you could work with CP100 and his fmod soundpack for his hopper I6 sound, it would suit this mod great.

    Sorry that I ignored the previous post you made about this :p
    It would be more convenient for me to either sample my own car, or let one of the several who have offered to do it for me sample theirs, because I don't think that that sound is awfully accurate compared to the real one outside.
    Besides, it will come in the upcoming release with the usual game sounds.
