Nope. It's a completely different frame to both, and it's a unibody, not a body-on-frame. No Hopper suspension or bumpers will fit this car, as they are all smaller and require adjustment to fit (bumpers and suspension alike). And as shown a page back (I think) the size comparison between the Roamer and this shows how much bigger the Roamer is. It actually uses a Gavril solid rear axle and rear suspension, but it's been altered too.
Even though it's far too early... @atomspeed123, hope this helps in getting crash deformation alright.
What does the model look like if you put the smoothing on? all the screenshots are just the flat setting.
I know that the real version is a unibody considering i had 3 of them 1 on 33s, 1 on 35s, and my current one on 37s soon to be 42s. i just figured it would make things easier
I've seen the IIHS ratings and pictures on it before when I my dad was looking to buy this Cherokee, but I've bene looking for that video for ages! Thank you, this will definitely help! Remember all those sharp lines I was talking about? It gets rid of them. I can't use this on the shell.
Perhaps do "Mark Sharp" on the edge that needs to be sharper? You can then have smooth & sharp at once
Wow, that does look way better! The only problem is that you have to select every individual edge. That could get annoying after a while.
Yeah, every day I find more problems and fix them on my Audi, and i'm trying to keep the poly count rather low. Some of the things get real annoying, like finding out that it looks messed up or something else.
I'm definitely liking the look of this so far! I think it's time to finish up that rear, finish the front a bit (including fenders) and get some bumpers on! Notice that the grill has 12 slats instead of 10,7, or 8, to avoid problems with the FCA for trademark reasons on the repository.
two things: 1. a mesh grill of some kind would look better (in my opinion) as it makes it less-jeepy, and more like its counterpart, the hopper. ((possibly with horizontal lines across in some manner?)) 2. can i see a side profile? from the bottom second picture it looks a little wonky in proportion from the hood to the size of the car.
A black mesh grill will lay behind this one if I used that shown design (as a texture on a flat plane), but I don't really like the look of horizontal or only mesh grills on the car. They look a bit out of place personally. The horizontal one actually makes it look a bit more like a Chevrolet truck in my opinion, and would make it look a bit more like the D-Series too - and the Chinook, which will have the same grill, is meant to be a competitor, so that wouldn't fly I don't see much problem if you ask me It is scaled to blueprints.
