These things, are they called fender-markers? To see the end of the car better when you are parking? Would be cool if they were also on the rear, shining only when reverse is put in.
In the Nissan catalogs of the time, you refer to them as "fender markers". Come to think of it, although not a Cedric/Gloria, the Laurel/Datsun 200L 4-door sedan of the same period had fender markers on the rear fenders as well. Presumably in conjunction with the headlights, though. I guess it is up to Bakasan to decide if it is necessary to put them on since they were not a popular item.
Didn't see this until now, but aside from moving around [claria_engbaycrap] I haven't changed the engines won't be any different (apart from addons), so other engine swap mods should be compatible
small update, changed the rear slightly (thinner taillights, larger middle panel and remove the wagon handle at the bottom Also adjusted the bumper lights now to work as parking lights (that come on with low and high beams) and yeah the aux foglamps will take their place
looks nice, with this and the claria sedan it looks like we will soon see a whole body-type line for LJ75 mod.
LJ73 On a serious note I am ultimately not really happy with the rear fascia, outer trim and taillight shape are fine but I feel there should be something to fill in all of that empty space maybe just bin the garnish and model something like this instead

minor Claria update, made a 14x7 and 14x8 version of the Alder Rush wheel that fits nicely on the Claria, as well as a chrome material variant of the Rush think I might also do a narrower 14x6 variant too, this will be used as the GTz default wheel otherwise yeah just chipping away at small details like logo positioning and so on ect... --- Post updated ---
To be fair I prefer the older version. This one lacks the chrome bits the wagon has, and as a result it looks kinda empty (if that makes sense).
Ah I see what you mean, yeah the new one would probably loook better with some small chrome inserts around each of the individual lights probably will do 1 or 2 configs if ever I get around to doing a sedan body
Any chance you could add a unibody variant with the missing B Pillar? One of the main things that lets this mod down in my opinion, mainly because it also removes the door frames when you take the windows out so it just doesn't look right. Also, the original mod had a derby variant which doesn't really make sense given the fact that most Cedrics sold to AUS or Japanese market, with the rest going to New Zealand and some entering Europe, very few ended up in the USA and those that did certainly weren't the first choice of machinery for a demolition derby. However...... They have been a pretty popular choice in the UK Banger scene for those who have been lucky enough to lay their hands on one, or a few! (Maybe an idea for a config? - I have all the 3D models for roll cage etc that Peter Beamo made for me years ago which you're welcome to use) Here's some pics of ones I found on Google
@PriusRepellent2 eventually yes, the plan is to add a sedan, with a full B pillar, framed doors and a slightly different roofline (and probably different rear fascia/larger taillights cuz why not) Main reason I want one is for doing a bog standard base 2000 Standard model (the HT probably won't have this as it is a more luxurious body design anyway), and the sedan will also likely have 1 or 2 police and taxi configs as for a 'banger racing' config I will probably just leave it up to the community to make one Honestly anyone who takes a 260C banger racing should be set on fire by the JDM gods anyway
i know the cedric wasn't sold in the US but it would be kinda cool if this mod had parts for USDM stuff like the 5MPH bumpers and the LHD interior and all with its own USDM configs to go with the USA vibe mod that was made for the normal claria what do you think?
