I probably won't do USDM parts, we will just say the Claria was a JDM only model (totally not an excuse to not do extra work) anyways Do you dislike conforming to society? Do you also find pleasure in rendering your rear doors useless? if so you will love this new グラチャン仕様 bodykit, it is e x t r a t h i c c too the fact I also hacked it together in 5mins in blender gives the bodykit an authentic homemade feel also remembered I need to 'borrow' the external oil cooler from the miramar, for reasons
Just saw it in half and glue it to the door, problem solved And maybe add some bolts or rubber lining so that it doesn't look that basic.
lol, but yeah with these equipped I will probably make it so the rear doors can't be opened and yeah the plan is to model in a few bolts to hold it on, though likely won't do rubber lining as the kind of people that would have done this modification wouldn't use rubber anyways made a few tweaks for better fitment, might also do a bespoke spoiler or two to go with the flares, currently using what will be the GTz spoiler
its fine i just felt like that would have been cool as a little addon for it but its alright its a good mod though
no worries, not saying I will never do it, but at least not for the initial release And I could always leave stuff like that to other members of the community to contribute more addons
I don't think there are 4lug alder mags? unless you mean a 4lug variant of these? I do kinda wanna do a 4lug variant of them, while not related to my Claria mod some other 4lug Japanese cars could use them such as the Signia, some of my WIP stuff ect.. especially for the USDM models
this is not related too much but the cedric was almost sold in the usa because studebaker was trying to work out a deal with nissan to sell the cedric in north america but when they learned of the toyota century they contacted toyota which was insulted at being the second choice and when nissan learned they talked to toyota they also ended negotiations which actually sucks because if they had not gone to toyota we could have gotten these beautiful cars and studebaker might have lived on
other than maybe the massive square mandated bumpers not much in common really Also yeah larger luxurious Japanese cars like this were not really popular in the US at the time, namely as most consumers of the time saw Japanese vehicles as cheap, efficient transport, and companies marketed vehicles that matched that description. The largest Nissan you could get in the US was a Bluebird basically and Toyota had the Cressida (the Crown was offered initially but due to above reasons it didn't sell well and Toyota dropped it in the early 70s). Sports cars were a bit of an exception though, thus the likes of the 240Z and RX-7 sold well, but yeah large luxurious Japanese cars like the Claria were a bit ahead of time for the US market
I guess for the late 70s yeah, the Datsun 810 (and later Maxima) was Nissan's premium offering for the US market although like I mentioned the Datsun 810 is basically just an export version of the 810 Nissan Bluebird, more specifically the Bluebird G6, which recieved an inline 6 engine with 150mm longer wheelbase to accomidate, as well as different front styling But yeah Nissan's larger offerings such as the Skyline, Laurel, Cedric/Gloria would never see US shores, though they were exported to the likes of Australia and parts of Europe
nice tuskerbade will survive in beam.ng lore producing rebadges of the claria for the us market until they can get back on their feet unlike real life studebaker that went bankrupt
