Hmmm, that seems to be an intermittent thing. Sometimes it happens for me, sometimes not. I will make sure to fix it with the next update that I do. That being said, the next update won't be until the group b version is ready.
My best guess would be that those lights are using the brake light broken texture, and it stretches in such a way that some of the rally lights wind up completely red. Also, will the group B variant be driveable as just the tubesteel frame, like you pictured above?
Is like the full interior stripped with like race car gauges and stuff? Lol.. Wondering what your working on and cant wait to see! Should model a Co-Driver for shits and giggles.. Make him holding the clip board with a frown on his face.
So you shared with me your criticism on my turbo for my GTi I shall share my criticism with you. Your piping is good but.. alot of things just are not correct lol. firstly, your exhaust manifold is horrible lol. You just took the headers and ran the exhaust from the headers like 4 feet to the turbo.. Thats retarded lol.. Even a google search of toyota mr2 turbo manifolds arent even like that. I understand its a rear mounted engine. But you could have reversed the way the engine sits with the exhaust facing towards the back and the fuel injection towards the front of the car. Next point: What in the hell is going on with your exhaust? It splits from the pipe from the header to the turbo and runs out the back of the car? You dont have any type of air cooling for the turbo? Took me a while of looking at it to figure out your configuration.. You ran the intake from the fuel injection to an airbox and then to the turbo. the airbox doesnt cool the air. unless that airbox looking thing is your intercooler. good lord im getting confused trying to understand this turbo setup.. Seems you made a small intercooler for the turbo but its just odd the way you set up everything. Would have been much easier to reverse mount the engine with the intercooler on top like a sti or something. Really you kinda have it together but its very very strange. And i used this as a reference for my design Sorry if this post if all over the place but each time i looked at your setup I discovered something different. You did some of it right but the way you ran your exhaust manifold and such it wrong. Why does the exhaust split with have the engines exhaust running out the car and the other half to the turbo. You did your downpipe correctly but the headers dont split the piping. I'm just confused.. Should've reverse mounted the motor would've been a cleaner piping configuration with much better flow. Try for something like this: tl:dr everything is fine but the turbo piping is everywhere and the manifold is stupid. and reverse mounting the engine would've helped.
Sorry to burst your bubble on where you thought you knew anything about cars, but you got 2 versions of the car loaded at the same time. Duh.
Well, first of all you need to figure out how to use blender. You have both my turbo and non turbo exhausts loaded, so of course it looks wrong. Second of all, the intercooler is an air to water intercooler. Google can probably help you out there. Third, have you ever seen the way a turbo Subaru is set up, with an up pipe? Or even a remote mounted turbo setup? I used the stock MRi engine and exhaust manifold, ran to the turbo. Maybe your exhaust manifold comment should be directed at Gabester? He made it... You keep making it more and more obvious that you don't have a clue.
My bad still beginner with blender and yeah I have plenty of experience with turbocharger kits. In my life I have fully installed 2 kits, one on my friends gay v6 eclipse.. was hard do to the space but it worked well. Second was a civic. Was really freaked out though when I seen it lol. My bad.. - - - Updated - - - Never seen a air to water cooler, checking it out right now. Was hard to tell what it was because in blender it was just a odd shapped cube.
Some things deserve more detail than others in video game meshes. I did cheap out on the intercooler, but who cares. It's plausible.
Its always adorable when someone mods a high poly part into an unseen place on one of Gabester's mid poly cars.
I saw an episode of that spike tv show where they take old cars and make them fast or whatever where they had a turbo under the rear bumper. Still minimal difference from under hood. it was neato
