I want to add a diesel for sure. Honestly not sure if a V8 will fit, going to find out tomorrow!

Hello, i already have tons of fun with this mod, a "vanilla" japanese small pick up truck is was a much needed thing for this game.
Are you planning to re-desing the front of it, like smaller headlights, bigger grill to resemble more to a hilux/ taro? With a white camper shell and a some rusty yellow paint it would be the perfect Oyoza pizza truck. :D

Are those compatible with regular Covet or is this a completely separate set?

I'm glad youre enjoying it! I still want this to resemble a Covet, so I don't think I'll make a redesign. If anyone else wants to make that happen though thats absolutely accepted!

At the moment the front offroad bumper, truck hood and Square Style fenders are available on the default Covet, not sure if I'll keep it that way though.

why not keep it that way it would be extra coding just to remove a feature

Do I get emailed updates to the mod once I pay for it? I really want it now that there's revamped offroad suspension.

I don't think there will be a double cab. The mod has FWD, RWD, AWD & 4WD. There's no official full release date for now

Updates are absolutely free, hopefully KoFi & Gumroad notify you of updates but I'll make sure to notify everyone anyways. The revamped offroad suspension should be available soon!

Is there a rear end redesign/facelift version planned? I'd love to see a more Hilux/Tacoma-like rear end that isn't an edited D-Series tailgate. Other than that, I love the creativity and community feedback that's gone into this awesome mod, keep up the good work!

Thank you! I'll consider a redesign/facelift. And FYI I made the tailgate myself.

Neat! It's amazing how fast you can get things modeled and jbeamed, and I also wasn't saying the tailgate looked bad or out of place, I'd just prefer one that fits the more smooth styling of the Covet. But the current version fits the 'backstory' of the car very well.

What exactly are sealed beam headlights? Can you give me an example?
Covup is simply like a project codename, I haven't put time into names and it's not really a priority yet.

    I'll consider those!
