A life so full they can't take 2 minutes to say "sorry but this will be delayed until blah blah blah"?
his world doesn't revolve around us. he's free to do what he likes. we don't know what he may be going through so we have no room to judge
Yeah but it would still be nice to know if he is done with the project or not. Even something like "screw you dirtbags this is cancelled" (I doubt he would ever say this btw) would be better than not knowing what is going on.
I’m an advocate for transparency and I respectfully still believe that he should say something to keep us in the loop, or at least change the thread tag to On hold if he’s taking a break from modding.
I don't know if your active that much, but could you show us a brief video of the mods development progress and/or it in action?
Sorry about being inactive here and all, I have not been working on this thing much due to working on other projects and just taking a break from working on the Feri overall. I will be redoing and tweaking a few JBeams on it, and I have also reduced its weight before recording this video. After that, I """only""" need to finish the interior and additional exterior lighting, aftermarket options, and additional engines. Also, here's a video of the base Feri being driven, as well as being crashed. It is rather laggy though
Definitely needs more tweaking with the JBeams and its structure, considering you crashed it 75kmh the Van should be less rigid and more foldable iykwim. And is the lag caused by the recording or the actual Vehicle?
The lag is mostly caused be my laptop, and yeah, while the JBeam does need tweaking, I kind of wanted it to be stronger unlike the tin can delica, and more like a VW T3
dumb question that's probably already been asked but will there be an extended (high) roof variant? --- Post updated --- aw, that would've been really fun to crash. i kinda feel like some beamng cars (like the miramar or burnside) have too strong jbeam and don't fold like cardboard in an accident (which i think they would irl)
Just my opinion, but I think with a Van from the 80's and 90's, it should fold like an omelet with a head-on crash, roof should be bent upwards in a 40-50kmh crash but hey that's your option. And the whole structure of the vehicle is wabbly.. its behaves like Urbanmaid's vehicles which personally I'm not a very big fan of with the physics. My opinion
Yeah, sadly the model is pretty old and doesn't have the best topology, it's kind of stuck deforming like that. The fact that the side panels are separable also plays a role in the spiking
aw, that would've been really fun to crash. i kinda feel like some beamng cars (like the miramar or burnside) have to that's pretty cool, i think we need more stuff like that in game
