Back on topic, I'd really like to see a sort-of face lift, sort of like how this

VR6? You mean half of a W12, right?

 

Thats not a facelift, thats several generations ahead, totally different vehicles and although they do look somewhat similar in terms of body shape its a totally different body, frame, engine, wheel base etc.

It would have to be created from scratch as a new vehicle outside of some jbeam parts that could be edited.

 

I know what a VR6-8 is, but i was talking about 2 separate blocks beside eachother for a rough estimate for a v8..

 

Let's stop talking about engines and start hyping, because the Hopper looks like it's ready and may even come tomorrow!

If it had some sort of face-lift, it would probably be a slightly different grille, bumpers and probably even headlights.

You are comparing the most recent Wrangler to a CJ from the 70s. The Hopper's facelift style would probably be similar to the appearance of YJ and TJ Wranglers, with TJ being the face-lifted one (Even though the TJ is actually the second gen Wrangler while the YJ is the first).

 

In Community Screenshots, @Nadeox1 posted a picture of the shadow of the hopper. From that screen, it looks complete.

 

I just thought of an idea of some kind of winch to pull the hopper out of something. I drew up something in paint. In the drawing it could use the trailer binding key to connect the winch to trees or around a tree (key L). The winch could also connect to the trailer hitch of other cars in game too. Let me know what you think.

The last screenshot was shared last November so its highly possible. Plus come on its almost been four months since the last update so a new vehicle would be nice.

Wonder how that would sound... the VR6 sounds mean.

 

Body-coloured Fenders! Gray STX wheels! Crazy '80s graphics! That's three of the things I suggested in-game! (Although I probably shouldn't take credit - it's equally likely that I tapped into things the dev team was already doing)



If this keeps up, we might see a Hopper Pickup!

I've already come up with that idea. My idea of a Hopper pickup is based on the 2005 Jeep Gladiator concept, which is essentially a Wrangler pickup. I think the Hopper would look great as a pickup based on this one. I don't have a name for it, but I have some ideas, which I've provided.

I'm partial to the Hopper Carry - I think more than one Japanese manufacturer has used the word "carry" to denote a pickup bodystyle.
